Looks a bit desaturated, but so far the animation looks pretty good

Probably can't judge the colours yet as it's a recording of a display so won't be anything like accurate! Hope this is representative of the standard animation quality, or at least the action scenes. Definitely looks better than the last couple of seasons of FT.

"EDENS ZERO" ends with a special interview in Weekly Shonen Magazine

Hiro Mashima's "EDENS ZERO" series will be published in the 30th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, out today, June 26th. To celebrate this event, there is a special interview with Hiro Mashima and George Morikawa, the creator of "Hajime no Ippo".

The adventure fantasy series "EDENS ZERO", which launched in June 2018, tells the story of Shiki, a human boy who lives in the robot-populated kingdom of Granbell. The series was published in 32 volumes, with the final 33rd volume scheduled to be released on August 16th. In 2021 the series was adapted as a TV anime.

Additionally, the next issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which will be released on July 3rd, will feature a special one-shot from "FAIRY TAIL" by Hiro Mashima. This celebrates the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the sequel series "FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest," for which Mashima wrote the original story.

Rave Master By 2020, the manga had 23.5 million copies in circulation.
I don't know how true this is, but I heard Space manga sold more than 5 million copies world wide as of 2023. (you are free to correct me)

Also NEWS: 100yq anime apparently will have 25 episodes this season.

Edens Zero's sales were around 40 000 copies per volume (at the beginning ca. 80 000). FT 100YQ did around 60 000 copies (100 000 at start). It did worse than FT 100YQ, but it's not bad.

We have to also remember that digital sales are impacting "regular" volumes sales. Numbers are generally lower for new series than the older ones.

I don't know if it is a translation issue, but Hiro sound a little depressed here. I wonder if he is just overworked and tired, or he has lost confidence after Edens Zero, but I hope it's just temporary.
I do hope he will make another series, but it is noticable that he is not able to maintain the quality for a longer series.
Dead Rock is terrible, he should end it asap, and focus on the new series.

Because nothing has a meaning there. Characters are brutal for no reason, death has no meaning, because there is a necromancer always nearby, battles are jokes beacuse always something kills the foe out of nowhere. Weird comedy-horror combination is also completly not my taste. Main character has some potential, but I may never know, as I stopped reading this.

Well, looking at last chapter, it has poor character balance, 90-95% is done by MC, others are relegated to support, It's good to have teamwork, but it being just everyone distracts enemy and MC than OS him, it is awful, and judging by fact that there are no underlings (teachers are basically sub bosses with God being Final), it feels like side characters have nothing to do, other than be killed off or Cheer MC.
It feels like Hiro realized Space Manga was failing him, so he tried to save himself with FT fan fiction.

He says he cant do Rom-com and Sports manga. What about Action slapstic comedy, Like Beelzebub or Konosuba. He is poorly trying to hide that he wants to keep doing Ecchi, why not just embrace it.
