That the next enemies are the gods would be logical, ANK as enemies why not.

On the other hand for the couples there is no way that the gruvia and jerza are not concluded at the end of 100 quests, in the next spin off we must see them do couple things:

hold hands, kiss, live together, in the missions sleep in the same room etc, so except for exceptions jellal and jubia join the team.

And for the nalu, well well it's a bit dead for him to be a couple at the end of 100 quests unless rushed to death and botched I hope that by the end of 100 quests there is good progress.

no way we're going to wait 300+ chapters to finally see natsu calculated lucy or lucy who moves, we're not in rental girlfriend here XC.

was he though? All he did was punish Zeref for trying to bring back dead. It is similar to Truth from Fullmetal Alchemist punishing Elric Brothers.

Ank may not be '''bad''' but he is probably not very sympathetic or impartial, certainly he punished zeref but he didn't just kill his teacher as a punishment/example but all the inhabitants of the academy and the city.

Plus the fact that in the end this curse served Zeref more than anything else, he had all the time in the world to be able to resurrect natsu.

So why didn't ANK re-kill natsu directly after being resurrected, just to punish him a second time zeref?

And for maivis it's the same, we don't know why she was cursed? Just because she used LAW? Except that no one warned her ''' don't use this spell or you will be cursed by ANK '''

Or it is part of a bigger plan, which required all this, we will see.

We got an explanation. She was cursed as she used Black Magic (Law) to decide who will live and who will die.
Apparently using Black Magic to kill the enemy is bad.

As for battling Gods, looks like everyone forgot that Natsu did defeat a God before. It was Ikusatsunagi and was kinda lame. I think "Dragon Gods" are higher that "Gods"

yes it's true EXCEPT THAT she didn't kill anyone XD, she just destroyed the orb of tenro and saved Yuri transformed into a skeletal dragon.

The theory said that this orb could be linked to ANK and that he cursed her punished for having destroyed it, maivis had said that this orb was filled with evil energy.

So it would have been '''just''' because she would have used Law that she would have been cursed? So giving a judgment on who should live and die didn't please ANK, but once again she didn't kill anyone and '''judged''" anyone.

Moreover we don't know the difference between LAW and fairy law, so that's why I say that ANK is not very impartial.

I see where tou coming from, but I think this is just a bad writing on Hiro's side. Originally Mavis wasn't supossed to have a bigger role, she was added due to her popularity amongst fans. I guess while writing Zerø Hiro did not decide if Mavis is going to be Cursed, so she has just "stopped aging" and the Curse was confirmed later (honestly, Mavis didn't show an unce of "contradictory thinking" prior Alvarez).

I see where tou coming from, but I think this is just a bad writing on Hiro's side. Originally Mavis wasn't supossed to have a bigger role, she was added due to her popularity amongst fans. I guess while writing Zerø Hiro did not decide if Mavis is going to be Cursed, so she has just "stopped aging" and the Curse was confirmed later (honestly, Mavis didn't show an unce of "contradictory thinking" prior Alvarez).

Yes probably bad writing, after ZERO she lived about ten years ''' cursed '' before seeing zeref again who told her that she was cursed and that she just didn't notice that people / plants / animals were dying around her in a strange way.

In any case there is always a way to catch up with that by saying that ANK is mean / sadistic, or that it is part of a bigger plan.

we will see if mashima does that but there is a way to do something with that.

What a set up to not have Wendy Cursed, That Girl decided who should live and die so many times she should be hundred times cursed. Hey but its not Black Magic. Well at least she is punished by being fated to be forever "Tiny" (She may say she is over it, but it's clear she is not).

I think it is more about her actually saving life rather than deciding to let them die or not with a Spell that can kill based on the will of the caster.

I mostly look at "august = irene" as they are in league of "OP In humans slightly below Gods", Gods being Acno and Zeref.
I mean one is a child of two immortal beings (still hate this plot) while other is Dragonized human similar to Acno, but with more brains.

Honestly, I am surprised Neinhart is not at the bottom myself but it is shocking to see Wall at the bottom there.

Yeah, but Jellal was stronger than in Alvarez, but God Serena was weaker. It is established in the manga that the Magic of the dead people is lower and Serena had a pretty obvious weak point, being his wound he got from Acno.

Don't get me wrong - Jellal is a beast and one of the strongest characters in the manga (he always was), but this Hiro's statement about Spriggans' power doesn't really prove Laxus v Jellal situation as they respective fights were completly different.

It's also worth mentioning that this Spriggans rank is made for the upcoming game. We don't know yet if the game is 100% strict to the manga (well, to the anime, game's official site states that the game is based on anime not the manga somehow )
