I highly doubt he can freeze all of Laxus' lightning attacks since lightning isn't as much of a solid as Ice.

His ash hax isn't limited to physical objects though. Laxus can blitz him don't see his intagibility being passive.

What I'm saying is that ashing physical objects would probably be easier, plus lightning is much faster than ice.

Because of his speed though, Thunder Body should be able to get around his intangibility easier.

Tbf it seems pretty tough to actually catch him off-guard with physical attacks. When he got hit by Natsu he was taken by surprise since he was distracted by Wendy blowing him away. On the other hand, from the few on-panel moments of DE's vs Strauss' Mira couldn't scratch him, not even with Magic:

This isn't to say Laxus would necessarily lose to Skullion in a serious fight since Laxus could probably blitz him, but he's a far more tricky opponent than Kyria. Personally I think Skullion could pull some wins over Laxus, but overall Laxus is stronger.

Up until now, they've been seen as "equals". The only reason Natsu pulled so far ahead is because of his feats.

Jellal being portrayed as Laxus' "equal" doesn't mean a thing if he can't back it up with feats.

Now that Laxus has RL, Jellal has no chance

not saying they are (at least me) but this is the same problem we had back during Alvarez.

all Spriggans have the same MP so that means everyone is equal (have the same stats etc) to the one they defeated LoL
