We don't know how Yuri died and it might be possible he imply had an accident and came back without his memory... Or Serena is a demon of Zerefs book who looks like Yuri...

I still don' believe he is dead. Warrod lives and Hades also lived a long life, it seems too simple that Yuri died, especially after he promised mavis to protect her. He was also very young at that time

So Mavis's "death was obscured. Interesting. It also says that Yuriy died, somehow I'm doubting this. He probably disappeared. I don't believe that a Dreyar would die so soon. He probably went missing or something.

Strange thing, in Zero x700 is year that Yuri died but we know that he's god Serena. I dont know why didnt Mashima showed us how Mavis died. He only said that she died.

Because he'll 100% certainly want to show us how Mavis created Fairy Heart in Fairy Tail, not in a spinoff manga.




I also liked the last chapter of Ice Trail. Unfortunately we didn't see Makarov actually fight, at least one page would have been great. But the hype was real.

edit: Well, Yuriy's time of death being in a year with a "7" at the beginning clearly shows that we haven't seen the last of his story.

Yuriy's apparent death was probably the most relevant bit of information to the current story. I'd like to think that it isn't just something to distract from the commonly held belief that God Serena is Yuriy and that we can move on from the thought, however, it wouldn't be the first time that something like this happened... only to be disregarded. The one thing that was odd about the chapter was Jose's appearance, was he seriously that old?

I don't think it was Jose, possibly his father or grand father, since Jose seems to be younger than Makarov.

I don't understand why the founder of Phantom Lord is introduced... perhaps a foreshadowing for another spin-off? Or Mashima just want to emphasize the long-run rivalry between FT and PL? And oh... the Tenrou Island isn't actually a "Holy Land" LOL. And the Tenrou Jade seems rather irrelevant except it became the cause of Mavis' growth stopping...

Anyway I'm just a little disappointed that FT Zero is finished. I had high hopes and expectation with this spin-off. I kinda expected for more Mavis and Zeref interaction I guess that's what happens when you have to work on two projects at once. I'm looking forward for another Spin-off

Maybe because Phantom Lord is first mayor guild that wanted to destroy FT and we have two members for that guild in FT. In normal time line of FT.

Well we know that there was a war after FT Zero, since Phanton Lord is an antagonist of Fairy Tail, possibily theytook different sides on the war and Mashima plans to show how Malvis became the Tactitian.

I hate it when Mashima gives us a lot of hints about the pairings in FT, its just too painful!!
BTW, compared to Natsu and Lucy's interactions, I think I have gotten a liking to these two, although I thought Sting and ??? would be the ones to be paired. Also Sting is a lot of a gentleman than Natsu eh?

All in all, I like this spin off. But to be honest, I hope FT Zero would be a little more longer.
Although the plot is of typical damsel in distress, I still have high hopes for this spin offs
