Chapter Fairy Tail Spin-offs

Out of all the Fairy Tail Spin-Off characters, Doronbo from Fairy Tail: Ice Trail is probably the coolest.

Couldn't agree with you more there. All of the characters in that spin-off were badass and strong.

I really enjoyed the Black Vox Prison scene. It's probably one of my most personal favorite scenes tbh.

The part when Head Jailer Grog Foto was trying to save Warden Torch Endeavor was nothing short of suspenseful.

I never really paid much attention to the Magic Council in Fairy Tail, but in the Ice Trail spin-off, I thought that the councilors were actually pretty cool.

Gray got some good shots in against Drum Bee too.

Not to mention, Gildartz defeating the entire Five Bridge Familia guild as well as all the criminals in the maximum security prison was nothing less than badass.


Overall, the spin-off was drawn pretty well with a lot of cool attacks and scenes. The humor reminded me of the old Fairy Tail chapters because it contained jokes and pranks instead of fanservice and stuff.

Now that I think about it... I would not mind a Zeref spin-off. It could be about the time he spent gathering the knowledge and resources to create his demons or it could be about how he formed the Alvarez Empire.

This is assuming that the main story doesn't have a flashback explaining both of these things, of course.

It could even be about something Zeref encounters or does during his many wanderings around the world.

Zeref is actually my favorite character and I really want to see more of the kinds of things he experienced during his immortality

Fairy Tail: Black
The name is what I imagined the dark and lonely story of Zeref to be called, sadly we'll have too wait for the main series to wrap-up because everything feels unpredictable. They could do Part 1 for Zeref and Part 2 for Acnologia, with both of them interacting at various points in history.

It's where Laxus asks Ichiya why everyone like him. Laxus's face after Ichiya's answer was perfect. That moment made me burst to laughing.

I recently got Volume 3 of Fairy Girls in english ... do you think it would be convenient to scan it to upload it?

I must admit that although the drawing fell a bit, the tome is incredibly fun and I love that it included Mermaid Heel in that volume as well as putting some things a little more cruel as slavery.

This is up to you. Scanning the entire book is probably time consuming. However, if you want to share a particular panel you enjoyed I'm sure everyone will welcome it. Again, it's your discretion.

I skimmed through fairy girls dont like it, it feel like it takes away everything that make fairy tail interesting and good but just leave the fanservice, the artwork of course I dont like especially compare to hiro mashima, atleast the sabretooth,gajeel and laxus spinoff, the artwork is pretty good.I saw volume 3 and there were like 1 bath scene in every chapter, it was annoying and I didnt like how kagura was easily taken captive by those slave traders, especially in the real series she did well against lacrade. I thought the amount of spin off cause over saturation on fairy tail. athough the guy that did the sabretooth spinoff, gajeel and laxus did a good job.

also the timegap must be huge between the GMG and Sun village arc if you count the spinoffs, anime fillers, the omakes. athough in the chapter when brandish tell the guild about August, happy pointed out that its September, so with the 1 year timeskip, Tartaros occured sometime between late Aug and Sept and the GMG occured in July around Lucy birthday. so yeah it should a month and half at most in between GMG and Sun village, its kinda far fetch that all those filler, omake and spinoff occured in that time period. I dont know. well its easier to just consider whatever hiro writes canon and forget the rest.

I really wanna see a spin off on Silver's time with Tartaros. I mean learn how he mastered devil slayer magic, the missions he had to go on to get close to the other demons and his plan to defeat Tartaros on his own. I'm actually doing a fanfic on it and I think it'd be a great idea honestly. There's alot to build off of there like the moral dilemmas he had to have faced to kill innocent people while also being fueled by his rage to get close to the other demon gates and kill em.

Thanks. It looks like I have got a lot of spin-off material to catch up on.

I still want a Zeref spin-off about the early days of his studies or about his experiences during the 400 years that he wandered about. It would be like his own version of FT Zero.

I really dont like Fairy girls after reading the first volume and looking through 2 and 3 out of morbid curiousity. the girls are completely out of character and the series takes away all the great and interesting things that mashima woven on his series and just leave the fanservice. and the artwork dont look too good. I could say really worse things about FG, its insulting to the girls that Mashima been writing for a decade. I guess I dont consider it canon.I really hated how Kagura was taken captive so easily by those traders and well atleast mashima gets creative with his fanservice. mistal seem okay as well as ice trail, athough the mangaka that did the sabretooth, gajeel and laxus spinoff did a good job playing with mashima toybox. especially gajeel it was the best and the artwork is pretty good.
