Not ideal Syx, but you got Skadi. So congrats. To be honest, and don't read this Samuel, I don't know why anyone would want a Skadi over NP1. Her NP doesn't do anything important aside from the evade. Not really. All your doing is increasing the magnitude of the crit buff and the damage cut (which is not very significant).

A high NP Carmilla or Osakabehime (Her NP is basically a 3 turn manaburst for everybody that covers both quick and buster after her buff) does waaaaay more. I'm a bit bias toward Carmilla because she's my favorite assassin who I've been using for years but against female servants she's tough to beat. One of the only assassins that can really hit hard.

And don't sleep on some of those other 4 stars you got, if you don't like them you don't like them and I know they weren't what you wanted, but a lot of those are really good quick servants that pair with Skadi. Wu Zetian and Atalante Alter are both like perfect combos for Skadi.

On that note, don´t know why, but danm is Majin saber fun to play. Shes simple, but her alter ego class means her viability is very different, and being buster shes not lacking that much in the departament of dmg, specially with her first skill up leading to a lot of self-stars.

Having a dodge/np buff skill is also great

Alter Egos in general are pretty fun. Just because of how much of a joy they make mixed cavalry class battle farming.

Also just need to mention this, my gatcha luck may be EX rank, but my luck when it comes to story mission mat farming is like F-. The number of times I've completed the Castle of Snow and Ice with no Aurora Steel drops to speak of yet is getting actually kind of absurd. I need 7 until I can max the NP charge. But the RNGoddess is having none of it.

Real life has been annoying, but this game has given me reason to endure it... For the GSSR, I decided to roll the Lancer banner, because I only have two SSR Lancers (Enkidu and Summer Tamamo), and I wouldn't have minded getting any of the other Lancers. In truth, I was really hoping for another Summer Tamamo, because she's the only one of that Summer group that I didn't have above NP1... and to my surprise, not only did I get Artoria Pendragon (who I enjoy due to "reasons") but a second SSR in Summer Tamamo!

After that lucky pull, decided to try for Skadi, and after 35 single rolls, manage to get her! After saving all the gifted quartz in case my regular savings didn't succeed, I surprisingly have plenty left over, so I'll save that for the summer event.

Unfortunately, since I'm lacking in EXP, I'm just farming currently. Will try the quests themselves later this week.

I have been farming a lot of exp, leveling up and ascending some 4 stars I hand´t, like Summer Ann and Mary, Regular AnnMary, Helena, and now going to Nursery

Scathach certainly opens up some fun team options.

I think my favorite combo with her I've found, aside from the various NP looping combos, is Medusa Lancer. Nice to have Anna be pretty viable now.

I guess, I should say the reason I like her. It's the stun she's got on her NP. So I assume Scathach original would be the same way. You can come into a boss fight nail them with a huge damage NP, shatter a break bar, and leave them stunned for the next turn.

For the farming setups i have a lot of servants I can use but I'm not sure I like the Skadi system. The NP looping is cool and all but I feel like I can achieve the same effect with just normal farming servants. A 50% NP charge + a charge skill. The damage may not be as high but most things end up exactly as dead.

The thing is that Okitan has 2 busters, 2 quick cards, a skill that buffs both for 3 turns, and as such both stack with Merlin´s Dickmaker-EX and Skadi´s Rune.

Also, while Merlin´s 1st skill can keep the attack up whenever there is a downtime of the previous skills, this team has the 100% charge (20% merlin 30% okitan 50% skadi).
Which gives you a lot of freedom on the CE you put on Okitan: Golden Sumo for quick charge and then fire another right after with the 100% charge, Kaleido plus 20% NP charge from Mysitc code, or pretty much anything else, even a black grail because why not.

It plays a little bit different, in that you don´t pop everything on 1 turn, you do it in according to your cards.

Also Okitan being able to absord stars generated by Merlins NP is the iciing on the cake.


tl dr: it keeps high damage trough all the quest

The fact that it is not JUST Dickmaker+Dickmaker on turn 3, but it can do that, is great.

Man, im so unsure on who to use the 2 grails I have...

Holmes is a prefered of mine and, gameplay wise, his Ruler class does benefit his stat gain from the grail, but his non-offensive NP means his NP doesn´t benefit as much

Ivan is a beast, but he is such a beast already I don´t really feel the putting him on 100 would make that much of a difference

Salieri is the only arts avenger, and his dmg multiplier is the highest, and I did really like him in Lostbelt 1, but I´d need to put the effort into putting him 10/10/10, and ruler fights are a bit more niche

Circe is top tier waifu but is totally utility...

Yeah, grails are tough to decide on sometimes. I've got 7 or so saved up and I just can't decide who to use them on. Jalter, Eresh, Istar, MHX Alter, Chokita are front runners but I'm just not quite ready to decide.
