When Akira Toriyama draws characters for things like Chrono Trigger, the Dragon Quest games, Blue Dragon and other stuff the characters always look very similar to Goku, Trunks, Bulma, Android 18 and other Dragon Ball characters because thats his style and how he likes to make his characters look.
Its the same with Hiro Mashima and other artists that they got a certain way they like to make there characters look so they will be similar in appearance.

Well it’s planned to be a shonen not a seinin and won’t we all like to see that even me though she would just be another naked Elle/Lucy.

it's actually of fairy tail in general, but it had a lot of nalu and gruvia.
It's cool how they dedicated themselves to giving Hiro this fanzine, and he seemed to be very happy about it

Well since there seems to be robots and androids maybe it’s this will be a science fantasy manga or fantasy/space manga kinda like Star Ocean. Also I don’t think that’s a Laxus look alike since he’s to scrawny and doesn’t have that scar though that old guy with the metal hand looks like Laxus/Makarov/Gildarts mash together.

As much as I'm curious to see what Mashima will bring to he table with this new world, this kinda kills his secret "Zero" project, doesn't it?
Well at least if Rave will ever be remade we will be getting a secret project named "Rave complete reboot"
