Discussion How will luffy fight Blackbeard?

I've always though BB seeking power would be his downfall. He may acquire more DFs but never fully master them resulting in Luffy exploiting these weaknesses in a long drawn out battle. (Think Gilgamesh from Fate Stay)

I have a feeling that at some point Oda will expand upon haki. By this i mean that we'll be likely to meet a group or person that has unorthodox ways of using haki to fight or do weird things. This will probably give clues to luffy on ways he would use his haki to further enhance his fighting prowess. I do think that a combination of the unorthodox ways he'll learn to use haki with the next gear(s) he unleashes or awakening will be serving him to face BB toe to toe.
