Yes Hunter x Hunter volumes tend to sell a lot when they come out. Despite not having an anime for a long period of time it was still very popular.

Pretty much always Top 10. Occasionally Top 15 (depending whats on). If you need a series to compare it to, it gets often more or equal ratings with Naruto: Shippuden.

If this is true then where have you learned such information? I didn't see Kite on the characters page of the website.

That wasn't me who wrote that. It was my brother who also used the Crunchyroll account.
It is not confirmed, my brother misunderstood the Kite situation and wrote that.

I do however have a strong belief that we will see Kite in this arc. I don't know how though.

Well you probably should correct that before a lot of people get pissed off.
I mean because if Kite doesn't appear in Whale Island. It's gonna make you
look like either a liar or an idiot. Not saying you are because it was as you say
your brother on your account. But few are going to believe that after the fact
or even if they do that won't make them any more happy about it.

What other techniques/hatus do you guys want to see animated the most? Deep Purple's top of the list for me, and seeing Killua in Kanmuru would be pretty cool, too.

Hm... Leorio's emission attack. Pitou's Doctor thingy. Kite's hatsu is pretty cool-looking for me, if a bit random.

Actually, I thought the Ant arc had a lot of awesome hatsus. I want to see Pouf splitting himself into smaller versions. What? I like Pouf, okay?

I want to see Yupi's rage blast, Netero's hatsu, Deep Purple, and Pitou's Dr. Blythe the most. Also really want to see Palm's second form and the battle between Pitou and Kite really badly.

Pretty good episode this week. Gon and Killua's conversation about their goals and such was done perfectly imo. Hearing Ging's voice at the end gave me chills!

Of course... I'm still very disappointed about the lack of Kite, and even Kon... but now I'm honestly starting to believe madhouse changed it so Gon hasn't met Kite yet, and that they'll meet for the very first time after Greed Island why change it? I really don't know... your guess is probably just as good as mine lol. That's just a hunch of mine on the whole Kite situation.

Well Gon mentions that although Mito tried to hide it from him 'he found out the truth about Ging' so I am guessing that we will get a Goodbye Whale Island episode in which Gon tells Killua about the Kite story and Kon. There will also be the Kon goodbye in this episode. Don't you think that would be good for Ep 39?

Knowing Kite since he was a kid makes everything Gon goes through during the Chimera Ant arc that much more powerful. If they change it to where he meets Kite for the first time to after Greed Island, I can't see it having as much of an effect. He's there for a few episodes... then bam.

I have to say I don't really care for Ging's character design... his face is rather weird. Too narrow/long or something. Think the old anime might have actually been closer o-o

Bittersweet week.

The absence of Kite is a huge mistake. And as I am enjoying this anime a lot, the disappointment is even worse.

But anyway, I will just try to ignore it, and trust that whatever Madhouse is planning to do with Kite, feels good and doesn't mess the characters that much.

^ Same i hope they don't Introduce kite at the End of Greed island because that will lose all of it impacts... Mad House has been doing great following the Anime thus far, so Let hope that whatever they are planning with not introducing Kite yet will be something that better then the way it was in the manga

Thank you! I thought his voice sounded very similar to Yamato from Naruto, and I was right lol.
