I only will suggest you to simply accept this trait of Senku as for a greater good, even when things like cooking, sex, and economics can be -with a wide point of view- come from the reasons that allowed humans to develop science as how it is now in 2020.

I was mostly joking about the whole "change my mind" thing, Senku's terrifyingly interesting as a guy. My doubt does stem from being unable to see even fangirlish/fanboyish preference for a character as based on anything but the idea that in some other universe/reality, this character would have the(main) qualities to make "me"/someone(person, real or fictional) with the same ideals and values as me feel attracted to them. I was sure that's where the whole concept of waifu/husbando originates from. I didn't think to question for one bit the evolution of the idea of "marrying" and your post did turn out more informative than I'd ever hoped for, but bestiality, necrophilia and Idek what to call marrying an inanimate and unintelligent object anyway are types of weddings where I draw the line. Unless the whole bit about marrying your non-human animal friends is purely platonic which makes it simply out there, same with AI.
