486 (dec 13 and 20) and 487 (dec 27 und jan 3) were both double issues of Shounen Sunday.
That means the next chapter will be released on january 10.

Dose anyone realie think they are going to die? i mean i cant see Takashi-san killing them off this close to the end i mean they have been in it for sooooo long ...

Yes i do know Miroku is the one in real danger but i just like to lump them up together :P

The last chapter of the manga in my mind should be like death notes final chapter and take place awhile after the final battle with Naraku when they finalie kill him and we see if all the matches happen

Sango + Miroku

Human inuyasha or half yokai inu yasha + Kogome ( Thou they could have Inu kill Naraku and die him self >_> )

Shippo + Some dog or something :P

i thing: miroku will heal his wound, sango will get another time her hiraikotsu, and inuyasha will gain another technique...only shippo will remain the same...

What about Kogome? i mean the girl needs a little action >__< her main thing is sit around tell inuyasha says it's time to come out and play and then she pull's out her arrow and shoots something and then sits back down and watches the fight with shippo...

Kogome should find a 'dyeing will' arrow and shoot shippo w/it "DEFEAT NARAKU WITH MY DYEING WILL!!!!!!!!' -_- too bad reborn-san isnt there

You would think it was too late to be killing ppl off but wouldnt that be one of the best plot twist to this looooong manga?

Have them DIE AND STAY DEAD???? lol that hasnt happened yet... im still waiting to see Kikiyo come back from the dead again and the other's that have died :P

i've just readen chapter 488...indeed i'm a bit disappojnted: i'm sad for miroku, even hiraikotsu healed...at the end only his life is in danger, and mostly he can't fight freely...inuyasha didn't gain another tecnique...and the youkai that meet sesshoumaru seems another naraku's puppet...we will see the next week.

I think there will be either a new tv series or a OVA to rap up the story line but not tell the manga is over.

I was just wondering, are there any groups doing scans on Inuyasha? It is a popular manga, so it kind of surprises me that's its so hard to find. I just want to see what happens because the anime just ended without resolving anything.

I'm so proud of Takahashi. She's made Sesshoumaru so much more expressive in the last couple of chapters. Though, I do miss the stoic emotionless awesome person he used to be.

Inuyasha Animated Moives

Lets talk about the movies. Who has seen them all?

Affections Touching Across Time (2001)
The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass (2002)
Swords of an Honorable Ruler (2003)
Fire on the Mystic Island (2004)

I have to say that I usually dislike shounen movie adaptions. Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Fullmetal Alchemist, .... the movies didn't impressed me much. Sadly, they drifted to much away from the original plot and came up with some bizarre ideas ... but that's offtopic here >.>

What I wanted to say: Unlike other movie adaptions, I do really like the Inuyasha movies. I love the art, the plot and some of the things that happened there between some of the chars *cough cough*. I know that the story of the movies itself isn't taken from the original manga storyline and often it is heavily intefering with things we expect to read in the future manga development (e.g. kissing scene, Inuyashas parents,... ). But I like that and I don't think that Takahashi will built her own versions of e.g. Inuyashas birth into the manga anymore.

What's your opinion about this? And which movie do you like the best?
Unfortunatly I haven't watched the fourth one yet.
