I think it relates to the fact that Rika and Okkotsu have a stronger bond with one helping the other from time to time. Meanwhile Sukuna don't care for Itadori that much given by how he almost killed him once and act on his own plus is plotting something with Urame and involving Fushiguro.

And yeah, that Choso moment was heart-warming for sure. He's as funny as Todo (WHERE THE HECK IS HIM BTW).

I do hope Maki end up as the new head of the Zen'in and that it become a pivotal element on the jujutsu world to-happen changes.

Rika was also created by Okkotsu's absurd amount of Cursed Energy. Were as Sukuna was already a Curse that existed and had nothing to do with Yuji.

Yuji is someone like Toji or Maki. But likely loopholed the little curse energy thing by eating that first Finger. Still Sukuna does not directly empower Yuji, Really other then the option of giving Sukuna his body, Yuji gets nothing from Sukuna.

Not entirely correct. Since Yuji is Sukuna's vessel, he does get a bit of a power up and upgrades. Poison resistance, passive regeneration - at Sukuna's whim of course -, his body is indeed more durable and stronger thanks to Sukuna. If I'm not mistaken Choso does mention it.

I get where you coming from, but saying Yuji doesn't get anything from Sukuna isn't entirely correct.

Just caught up with the manga, but I have one question so far... During Itadori's flashback as a baby, I can't shake the feeling that the woman who appeared there was posessed by Noritoshi Kamo (Pseudo Geto) as well because of her scars. Does this mean that Itadori's birth was manufactured for a special purpose ? Would explain how he is able to resist Sukuna I guess

Welcome to the club. I'm in the same boat and I think you are right. Yuji is certainly not just a regular dude who just happens to be the vessel. The question is maybe at which point the "brain transplant" took place? Before, during or after the pregnancy? Certainly very interesting.

I really thought Okkotsu was going to kill Yuuji, guess not.

Looking forward to seeing more of him since now he's considered a traitor (?) for being on Yuuji's side.

As I said earlier on this thread, I do think Yuji is special because Sukuna himself asks "who is this guy?/koitsu...". Choso can sense when he kill his brothers, and he did killed Itadori which caused a reaction on him (attention to him asking Noritoshi why did he made him try to kill his little brother).

Uraume is working with Sukuna and pseudo-Geto. Maybe Noritoshi have plans to use Sukuna and Yuji is a pivotal point of it, but Sukuna probably is aware of that.

I don’t think Yuji is spectacularly special - I see Megumi’s heritage as being much more special.

I don’t think Yuji is spectacularly special - I see Megumi’s heritage as being much more special.

That's a very good assumption, they even have matched hair color. But this does make him kind of special, since he probably is related to Sukuna. Maybe Noritoshi using a human woman body to have sex with someone from Sukuna's bloodline and give birth to a propper vessel.

Pretty hyped about the direction of this arc. The culling game sounds interesting and the integration of characters like Yuta and Tsukumo, really liking her so far as expected of Todo's mentor. And now Master Tengen, eager to see what answers he provides.

Yeah can't wait to finally see how the famous Tengen really is. And culling is a very interesting kind of "tournament arc" since it fits the plot so well.

The new Zen'in people also might storm up the arc a bit more plus I bet a lot of new characters who were put into action by pseudo-Geto can pose as interesting kind of villains. Mahito, Jogo, Hanami and Dagon representin the feelings of people and the planet were some of my favorite concepts in manga.

Not only did their nuke disappear but he was declared a criminal, yet none of them have made an appearance let alone uttered a word.

Now that you mention it, the Gojos are supposed to be one the 3 big families, but appart from Satoru no other Gojos was ever mentioned.
They'll probably come out soon anyway, they have to. I hope they're all as beautiful as Satoru. Please.

A) Because they were completely relying on Satoru, (he was the head of the clan right ?) and his strenght since he was enough to make their clan undefeattable
or
B) Satoru's strenght (and maybe some of his arrogance) naturally pushed them to the back of the stage so they've been doing whatever it is they do in the shadows.

I wonder how strong they are whitout him. Satoru is the strongest because he has both the Six eyes and limitless void, maybe some of them only have one of the two ?

They should be just as strong as the Zen'in. They were one of the three most powerful families before Satoru. Just like the Zen'in before Megumi was found to have inherited their strongest ability and still are despite the fact that Megumi has yet to reach his full potential.

I think your first point is close to the truth. Although, I don't remember if he was the head. He did utilize his position to the fullest, though. The thing is that because of Satoru's age the Gojo are (read were) so far ahead of their rivals. Megumi is still a teenager and so are Noritoshi and Toge. Satoru's absence should make them freak out. All that mileage is gone.

I get why the Kamos have yet to appear. Nothing have changed for them. But just like the Zen'in started to move the minute their leader died, the Gojo should start making some noice seeing how they're once in a century weapon just disappeared.

This is already confirmed to not be the case. The author stated in the databook that Sukuna never had any children, when he was human or when he was a monster.

Sukuna and Yuji actually don't have matched hair in the manga. Yuji's hair in the manga is more blonde while Sukuna's is pink. The anime just had them match from the start.
