On another note, I would love to see how Laxus would handle August. I bet it would go down like Laxus vs Hades where Laxus has the advantage at first but the Old Geezer is too much. I think he would do better than Gildarts because of his speed and he'd get more hits in.

still August destroys Laxus with no effort August is easily the most impressive character currently even above Acnologia (yes Acnologia is the strongest but cmon christina airship is faster than Acnologia i have lost all my respect for acnologia) where is the Dragon who one-shotted God Serena??? the salt is real

Laxus' ranking by the fandom is usually pretty reasonable and pretty consistent, its Erza who gets overhyped all the time because of all her hardcore fans.

I think he can't make it to August because of Dimaria, but if he goes up vs August, I am sure he would do better than Gildarts. August can't copy Laxus's magic because his dragonslayer magic requires a lightning dragon lacrima. I don't see him beating August without August vs Gildarts and Kana level of PIS, but he would easily fare better than Gildarts can and maybe force him to use some spells.

Brandish magic don't worked against Neinhart who was one-shot by base Natsu.

Nobody doesn't have to sweat fo them to show their MP. Laxus almost one shot a spriggan and was handicap vs another. FF natsu didn't fear FF laxus that doesn't mean laxus MP is weaker than Natsu. I can say since dimaria hasn't show any lighting reaction speed laxus will blitz her from the get go since she couldnt react to cheila who is slower than lighting speed. Laxus low diff her

Therefore in this gauntlet I think Laxus stops at DiMaria. That's for sure.

However, I still think he probably stops at Brandish. Idk..

Why not? Remember the fight vs Hades? He turned into lightning and kneed him so hard in the back the old geezer had the wind knocked right out of him. Brandish can't take punishment like that as we have seen. Without plot he goes full electric mode, blitzes, and oneshots.

See this post of Ahmad.He put it in a nice way.Laxus was indeed affected by Age Seal.It's proven.Even in front of a weak Spriggan like Ajeel everyone sweated because of the sheer aura of their immense M.P and commented on it.No one on the other hand sweated in front of casual Laxus or bother to comment on the sheer size of his M.P..But Laxus is better in other stats.He is better in speed,DC,durability,endurance,defence etc.It's just like Neinhart,high M.P. but bad physicals.

Frankly speaking there is no proof of anyone having Spriggan level M.P. or C.P. in Ishgar except for END.

Even though Laxus may have Spriggan level M.P. i doubt it will be as large as Chronos's.When Chronos exerted his aura a large chunk area of blew.This Laxus as of now didn't show i.e. blowing an area with tbe pressure of aura alone.

I know it can but I don't know if MP is enough. And when Wendy moved she said "How ?" "This can't be" " How are you able to move in my world"
If MP was enough she would have said "they were this strong ? No this isn't it" like how Brandish reacted to Enhanced Neintrash. But she did not . So IMO even if they had more MP (I'm not even sure about that), I dont think they would be able to move.

MP affect your attributes but not THAT much.

it certainly does but not to the greater degree.

Laxus tanked Hades' powerful blast without any MP any he survived barely.

MP affects your durability. I would say around 10% - 20%.

it also depends on what type of mage you are.

Jacob has bigger MP than lets say Natsu but his physical attacks are weaker than Lucy.
