I'm not confident Hardy is scum, I don't think Pandu's death makes that an absolute thing. But Holt has the xnut thing on his case as well... Can't think of any "green" reason why xnut would pull that, as town or scum.

So does the fact that RT’s kill target is notified really mean that the kill is delayed, then? Am I missing that it says this somewhere else? Does either gnut or Cres have some sort of black mark now, and can they be protected on the night they die like with Poison or the night they’re targeted?

Otherwise, it feels like a weird thing to put in the mechanic if it only applies when target is saved from a Kill.

Imo the biggest evidence making Hardy mafia is what Orgz said: only 2 mechanics generate alerts. So in theory Greg and Jinx were targets for block and kill (and one survived with some sort of protection - @SonOfDaws never replied to what could get someone to survive those ). So it looks like mafia killed Evil and the other two suicided, while their mechanic kill failed.
Hardy is not wrong when he said it could still be a second party on Pandu, tho. But he also said he's confident his role wasn't stolen, so maybe we should check his past role list to see what role he could have that would make him be certain now.

I think it's a host oversight that worked on our favour. Gnut/jinx got saved by secret doctor.

Now that you mention it, yes that‘s such a border case. Can we ask Daws to confirm? And it only notifies for Block and Kill but not for Protection.

The thing with Hardy is that, if we assume both Cres and gnut are telling the truth about receiving notification of being targetted last night, that means one of the two was targetted by RT kill.
Penguin dying on Holt is pretty clear (even more with the latter's behaviour) so that makes Panda's death (Host mistake that was overlooked and had to be announced later) either a target on Mafia or was killed by another party.

For the first possibility we have to assume that: 1. Panda targetted Hardy with a Pirate action on D1 and 2. Hosts overlooked such a simple interaction from how Pirate works. Hardy says he's confident he still has his role and I dont know how on earth he knows. Would like a clarification on that @Hardy .

For the second possibility things would make more sense from a set up pov tho. One single mafia with what seems like Lovers in it + RT vs a Town that is a Jesus factory... Second mafia killing Panda sounds like a very plausible situation over the previous one.

So if Dets proved their sanity on Bel (please be the case) they should target Hardy tonight and see a bit more.

I mixed two mechanics as if they had the same basic system.
