Funny joke! Everyone will be if Happy is E.N.D. But it's true, it can be anyone (or anything) and should be one who has a relation to Natsu.

That wouldn't be a bad idea for its own thread. But yea!! Now there's no evidence to who end is but for that he's a flame dragon

Hopefully soon. With naruto and bleach comming to an end soon, the only manga ill be looking forward to is Fairy tail and One Piece!

MAYBE END will be revealed when naruto and bleach end?

Fairy Tail will last for quite a while and it's getting more interesting as the story unfolds. I think E.N.D. will not be showcased so soon. The last information of it was to lure our appetite (interest), quite a good writing technique to keep the readership.

That's my theory I've layed down in some other threads already so I won't repeat the details.

Assuming something from mangastream's horrible translation is not the way to go.

It's simply End, not E.N.D.

Also, pretty sure if it was Natsu, all nine demon gates would have recognized him by now.

Is it really END or E.N.D. Because you are right, that could play a huge difference. And in any case, Natsu's long lost twin brother who turned demon master. haha we'll see soon enough.

Beside, even if it's E.N.D like some suggest, why would E.N.D means evil natsu dragneel? That's the dumbest theory ever. END was there long before Natsu. He was created by Zeref a few hundred years ago while Natsu is like 17 years old (add 7 years he was in Fairy Sphere to that).

Now try to explain how E.N.D could mean Evil Natsu Dragneel when Natsu wasn't even close to even exist when E.N.D came around.

Your theory is not only stupid, it has no foundation except an acronym that could actually means anything.

Emperor Natsu Dragneel sounds alot better then Evil Natsu Dragneel, it would also make more since because END could be seen as Zeref's successor. Back in the day Zeref had followers, they must of called him Lord, King, or Emperor.

Well in my theory.....we don't know if END is a living or nonliving thing and maybe if they kill END maybe it will be the end of all the dragon slayers and ZEREF......but that's not what were looking for it's who so.....I guess that E.N.D is Natsu maybe the letter E in E.N.D is a name of demon or maybe it's Evil and the N and D is Natsu Drafneel..soo that's my theory

Im really starting to think Zeref is either Natsu's real father or some relation to him.

His comment"I see you've grown" when he meets natsu is what makes me believe that he wasn't talking about in terms of strength. I also have a gut hunch that maybe him and mavis at some point were possibly lovers at one point and had a kid. the child being the event or thing that made him start to have an appreciation for life at some level. He tried to suppress his dark ways and power but found he could'nt and basically exiled himself away from humans in a supposed deep slumber until natsu could become strong enough to kill him.

Maybe the book of END is part of natsu's real memories/soul. and by regaining them he regains his true purpose which is to kill zeref to attone for his sins but also wipe out humanity as an engine of destruction due to his hatred of humanity. maybe thats why igneel doesnt want him opening that book at all costs. It would kinda explain why igneel couldnt "kill" END because it would also kill natsu his beloved adopted son.

p.s. i apologize if none of this makes sense, mainly wrote most of it from sleep deprivation and re-reading chapters

Could be something like Natsu having 2 sides, good and evil one.

Somehow Natsu manage to separate good from evil and Igneel took him as his child.

There's million theories about this one.

Hope that Natsu will open that book soon enough and finally find out about E.N.D

Indeed, that may be true: that Natsu is E.N.D.

Right now, there's too much Mard Geer and how strong he is. Even Lumen Histoire is revealed. I think it's still too early for Lumen Histoire to be revealed or used as there's still E.N.D. to battle with. With this revelations, I can strongly think that Natsu is indeed E.N.D. Lumen Histoire, which is Fairy Tail's strongest weapon, will be used against Mard Geer, leaving them no weapon to use against E.N.D. So how will they beat him?

I think the Natsu vs E.N.D. battle will be more of internal battle or a mental battle. In which both of them will fight mentally until one of them takes over their body. Much like Souichiro Nagi vs Kago Souhaku in Tenjho Tenge. Whoever wins will face Zeref, as either Natsu or E.N.D.

I think I got it. END means Etherius Natsu Dragneel. It is natsu's etherious form so to speak. So when the book is affected natsu himself will change. Zeref in the past probably took natsu (who is over 80 years old) and turned him into a demon to destroy him. Efforts were made to revert him back and his demon form was sealed. Then igneel trained natsu to be a fire dragon slayer.

It would also explain igneel's instructions to natsu. Affecting the book would affect natsu, perhaps even release it. Opening it is bad, destroying it too.

Thats interesting although to be fair it is a little too... "in your face" so to speak. Its like, there is not an ounce of subtlety at all there. I am all for end standing for something however him being called "evil" natsu dragneel is about as subtle as optimus prime riding a dinosaur to battle.

I actually agree.

I think Igneel couldn't kill END because it was a young kid called Natsu. He didn't want to kill a child, he tried to turn him good.

Personally I think its more likely E.N.D is Natsu's father like some mentioned earlier than E.N.D being Natsu.
Maybe E.N.D (as Natsu's father) was originally friends with Igneel, then they had to fight and Igneel didn't kill him as they were once friends then he got sealed into the book. Igneel took Natsu (E.N.D's son) and took care of him. It could also explain why zeref said Natsu would eventually have to make a choice.

I think the scarf igneel gave Natsu might have originally belonged to E.N.D (his father) and thats why it could protect Natsu from zeref's dark magic. Cos thats certainly too small for igneel to have owned and theres nothing special that would protect a dragon from dark magic.

Ofcourse being born to a demon would give natsu some special properties and that's why zeref believes he can defeat him. It would also explain zeref's comments as how he has grown maybe because he was also present around the time he was born or as a kid seeing as E.N.D was his creation. Silver made a comment about how Natsu of all people came there. We know silver spent years learning about demons and devil slayer magic and maybe discovered Natsu was E.N.D's son?


Perhaps Natsu would eat the flames from E.N.D's curses and attain a stronger power. Something like gray gaining the ability to manipulate devil slayer ice and subsequently gaining devil slayer abilities from his dad.

I mean most of the statements imply Natsu would have to fight E.N.D but might be unable to kill him due to some reason outside strength.

what if E.N.D being pure source of Vile is just an rumor? could be the reason why Igneel failed to kill him when he realised E.N.D in fact is the opposite of pure vile. Zeref never wanted to kill anyone it could be the reason why E.N.D is so precious for him : A creation that would never kill anyone despite their crime. Also, the reason why Natsu doesn't remember who he is or how old he is could come from Igneel magic to change memory.

Theory : when creating demon they must be pure vile so in order to create one with no vile the curse rebounded on himself known as his death curse.

Well, natsu being end is more than enough reason for igneel to be unable to kill him. He would have been a human turned demon by zeref, maybe even an actual child. I also doubt end was unable to kill anything....
