Sure thing, she still has a chance and the events of the this chapter really made things turn towards her since Chitoge will have a moment of hesitation that Onodera can use, but I think neither of them will confesse in this arc. Even so, it was a great development. I don't think that makes part of Chitoge personality to be sneaky, even more when Onodera is her best friend and they made a promise about their love, so I think that, after this moment of hesitation, Chitoge will be frank with Onodera and tell her that she likes Raku, to make everything fair and square. What Onodera will do after this possible event, I don't know...

they will probably make some promise to eachother that they will remain friends regardless of who raku chooses, i do believe both of them will be open and honest with eachother once they get a moment alone

From where should I start? I'm sure it is not over yet, but I cannot help but feel this distress for Chitoge... She was almost in the right path that we discussed here, that she should be frank with Onodera and all, but right after the shock of hearing Onodera, she overheard Raku as well... She didn't stay there to listen to the second part of the conversation between Raku and Shu... It is incredible how a series of misunderstandings can lead to such a disaster... After thinking that she was in the middle of Raku and Onodera relationship, she, as a great friend that she is, she chose sacrifice herself to let them love each other....
We knew that Chitoge would not break just listening to Onodera, but Raku as well was too much and we didn't expect that... I'm sure Raku will not abandon her, he will want to know what happened to her, that's why it is not over yet... Now more than ever, both have to be honest with each other, Chitoge NEEDS to tell Raku what she heard and why she left and Raku MUST do the same, otherwise they will be apart forever.
I'm not the kind of guy who will hate the manga now, my Chitoge's fan side hated it, my reader side found it awesome as hell. It will be interesting, no doubt about that.

I love this kind of drama!
Although, I must say that the way it's presented, really really point toward a Chitoge ending.

Usually, the one that sacrifice herself for the love of her friends, is the one that ends up with the protagonist, right?

Btw, any other French people think that "Zawsze in love" strangely sound like "Je suis in love" with a broken accent?
(Which, for all non-french speaker here, means : "I'm in love")

i dont see any way she loses in this scenario, raku is going to panic to find out where she is, maybe even fly to the USA to find her or whatever

and he will realize how much he misses her.... and bam they are in love

raku is pretty damn oblivious, but he is going to put 2+2 together (maybe with shus help) he will figure out that seeing chitoge run off, she must have overheard he and shu's discussion (really shu teasing/trolling him)

You know, the plot is developing quite fast currently so I think now it can end in more or less 20 chapters? I am also thinking now that the promise will just be an epilogue, showing that the present is more important. But they will open the lock out of curiosity and find out that it was Chitoge all along. XD
I can see this ending now and I think it's perfect.

I kinda want the oposite - him to choose Chitoge (maybe he starts to ask Onodera out then suddenly realise that he actually cares for Chitoge), but then later to find that her key doesn't fit the lock.

Even though Onodera's key is the right one, it would be a nice ending if he still chose Chitoge...

Do you really think that it is going to last less than Marika's arc? It is somewhat similar, but even more complicated. We don't know what Chitoge will do, Onodera either, I think it lasts more than 3 chapters. XD

There was the arc about Ruri and Shu in between, did you forget? I think it is a new arc that has its own purposes. Everything is linked since the beginning, the entire story is a great arc. XD
Even with you count that chapters before Ruri and Shu, it will not end in three chapters at all.

Things in a stand still state if even her father doesn't know where she is exactly, but I expected more despair from Raku. We can see that he is sad and even more after reading what Chitoge wrote about him (why she didn't write that she likes him!?). Well, there isn't much to talk about the chapter besides it and the sadness I felt throughout it... What Onodera is supposed to want at a time like this? I don't think she will confess to Raku seeing him in such state based on her personality. Does she know something?

yea that ruri shu arc would be a separate arc

now that i read 213 i think it will be closer to 5 or 6 chapters, i still dont see it being much longer than that, 220 would be as long as i see it going. i think onodera wants to confess but do to chitoge missing im not sure that she is going to do it

I don't think that she will confess, but if she does, she will be rejected, why? She will confess and for a moment Raku will consider it, but Chitoge will appear in his mind and he will truly hesitate. I think Onodera will understand what is going on in his mind.

he looked like he was going to cry when he read chitoges friendship notebook.

and once again.... if he can read that, and read how much she wrote about him, (especially the page where she wrote beansprout about 200 times) and he cannot tell that chitoge is crazy about him.... he must be the most oblivious protagonist in the history of all manga...

If Chitoge wasnt a mixed blood (pure japanese), I would have said that from purely writing direction POV, that she would be the girl Raku choose in the end. But since shes a foreigner, I think the manga will end with a "draw" of some sort between Chitoge and Onodera.

You have to think the implications of letting Chitoge be "the chosen one", as most japanese readers would most likely resonate and identify with Onodera.
Chitoge would be the idealistic "extrovert" persona that most of them would like to grow into.
Letting Chitoge "win" will make most of the shy female demographics of the manga to be hugely disappointed.
And considering Japan is a collectivist culture, there are a huge number of them.

On the other hand, Chitoge fits perfectly with the "nonchalant, falling in love without realizing it" archtype, which is a very natural approach to relationship. You could say that most japanese would like to fall in love this way, building up to the "big confession". And most mangas that I read, the two competing love interests are "the started off casual" (Chitoge) vs "the love at first sight" (Onodera). The former ALWAYS wins.

In any case, if the author had to choose only one between the two, from the direction of the manga so far it is gonna be Chitoge no doubt.
I think the next part of the story would be Raku realizing that he is not as happy as he thought he would be when he is living a dream scenario with Onodera, the girl of his dream. I also would not put it past the author to make Chitoge dye her hair to black and/or cut her hair to somewhat "neutralize" the notion that a "foreigner" win in the battle of love.

First thing I would like to say about this chapter is in this image. Raku, unintentionally, voiced our expectations about His and Onodera's conversation: None. XD

Well, it went as we expected, Chitoge went to America so that she doesn't stay in Onodera and Raku way... She likes both and it is painful, I understand her, but I think she should take Marika as inspiration and give it a try until the end... It is really interesting how Marika was inspiration for everybody since she left the manga... She left, but at the same time she didn't... There isn't much to say, she will have to make a choice and fast since Raku and Onodera suddenly appeared where she is. XD
I don't know what she will do, really... She cannot say why she left without saying to both, Raku and Onodera, that she likes him... Onodera already realized the truth, although I thinks she still doubts, but Raku didn't realize and I think that he will have to make a move this time if he wants to convince Chitoge to come back with them... I think she will run from them at first, but they will catch up and talk... There's also Hana... Will she have some part in this? The promise was mentioned, Komi Naoshi will put an end in this part of the story? Too many questions! XD
I read some rumors and spoilers (they didn't give a shit for the series this entire time and the decide to spoil at the end. ¬¬) saying that it would end in three chapters... After reading the chapter now I confirmed that it is just a arbitrary number. In my opinion it lasts more than this, more less ten chapters if you ask me.
