Well, he is from a sky island, so he could have the means to get to sky islands... probably like a balloon or something...


That will be funny, cos that's what Hawkins is doing essentially with all his probability calculations...

I was aware Skypians had wings. I was unaware they could be used for flight. I dont think there is a single panel showing any skypians ability to fly, and we've seen quite a bit of them. I thought it was purely cosmetic thing.

I could be wrong and it would make sense but I cant think of an instance...

Urouge is originally from the sky island so in all likeliness, he knows all the sky islands around and hence will have methods to go there and come... maybe a flying ship similar to Enel's or balloons, like Morgan.

oh lol. I was sure I missed something haha. Very interesting theory. I like it, it makes sense, and it would be cool to add as many Supernova as possible to the coming war.

See that's the thing that so confusing. This was my understanding. That there were 3 races of skypians.
1 from Blue Sea

1 the Moon

I dont know when they originally started from. I just hope this doesn't end like Naruto when suddenly the big bad is from space lol

Watch Enel drop into the middle of all this. People have been begging for it for years. I would prefer he just stay there, but having him up there unchallenged for too long would be a really big problem for the the earthbound people. A robot army at his back would be a scary thing indeed.

And yes to adding Urouge to the mix! I would be more than pleased to see all of the 11 minus Bonny at Wano for what's building to be an epic clash. Or I hope it is an epic clash.

We could even see an Admiral hop into the picture. Kizaru arriving for a rematch with his old pals the Supernova would be a nice... Though I would prefer Greenbull. Which begs me to ask, why did Oda keep Greenbull hidden if we are not to receive any fights from the Reverie? Surely we'll something from it later...

Oda recently is allowing Ace's Side Novel to be actual cannon, so this whole Sky People thing can defiantely be covered outside of One Piece.

I personally think their story os tightly interwoven with the the Void Century or even predate the Ancient Kingdom

@roggie , good point. Just because the general sky islander races cannot fly, doesn't mean Urouge cannot. For all we know, he can use geppo. Who knows? Maybe even some of the rokushiki arts originated in sky islands. After all, doesn't Geppou mean "moonwalk/step" or somesuch? And we know how Enel was about Fairy Verth (the moon). I bet there are legends from certain sky islanders across the world about moonraces. Could be Geppou originated as a martial art from people trying to reach Fairy Verth or attempting to call back to the days of legend when people could "fly" or step lightly on the moon's surface.

It could be the World Government, as they do with everything, stole the martial art from a traveler who came down to the Blue Seas and added it to what would one day become the CPs.

So, as you say, Urouge could easily be able to fly. And it needn't be Geppou! For all we know, there's an "up" dial, or a Sky dial, or a escalator! dial, or who knows what. Those things can somehow translate axe blows, it would not be at all impossible to have something for flight. Heck, didn't the crazy idiot priest have Jet dials? A few of those, and Urouge would easily be able to boost his way to the sky islands.

His ability allows him to grow.. so perhaps he grows his wings big enough to allow him to fly and get to the islands...

If he can, I don't think its gonna be Geppo…. That skill can allow some limited heights, but like 10kms high is too much

But we don't know that, do we? About geppo? Is there anything that says it's height has a limit? It would make sense that there is some kind of limit, but combine that with jet dials and I'd assume it could be overcome.

And then we'll likely learn somewhere that the real answer is an inflatable octopus in his robe pockets or something. Because Oda.

To be able to walk by kicking air at 10 km, where air is so thin that even Luffy was affected by this, Urogue should be a real monster.
Most likely, Urogue can use technology from sky islands, to be able to fly!

Just wanted to point out that urogue’s ability to fly (wether he can or not that is) is related to the chapter because it factors into him possibly being at Wano with many of the other Supernovae...

Interesting theory! I’ve always felt like those wings of the sky islanders were going to waste, storywise, and it would be cool if Urouge was like the first person in generations that could fly or something like that.
