What I mean was when he was annoyed with Perona. He kinda lost his temper there.
True, and I mean to say that's different from him losing his composure or showing worry in a fight, grit his teeth or at least losing a drop of sweat. The scene with Perona is just comedy.

He did so in the anime version of Marineford (gritting his teeth against Jinbei) but never in the manga. He was really missrepresented in the anime.

I'd say he was more indifferent than anything when he was arguing with Perona. Like she was an inconvenience to him being there but I think he wished her well when she was storming off lol.

Interesting and very well drawn. I feel bad for how bad Akainu was fodderized there.

That small panel of Mihawk with a drop of sweat jumped to my eyes because it's the only panel of him not being calm in existence.
Mihawk isn't emotionless, we have seen some emotions from him before, including shock.

I don't want to clarify what I meant for the fourth time, please. :grumble

@Fox666 Unless you're saying that I've missed him doing any of these facial expressions:

In that case I'd be grateful if you showed me the relevant panels, because I've always paid close attention to the character and it's not my intention to be missinformed about him.

So I'm re-reading bits of One Piece randomly, as I do, and I came to Zou to check out some of Kine'mon's scenes again.

After the group discover that the Minks have protected Raizo and everyone going to see him where he was hidden, Momo mentions hearing the voices from the Whale again. While he's speaking about it, his dialogue overlaps with a panel of Law, who keeps silent. I'm curious if that was implying that Law could hear the voice as well, but just hadn't said anything about it.

I hadn't paid too much attention to it before.

As far as we know Law only has CoA and CoO( stated in the Vivre Card book) but he is a D, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's something he always had but just felt like he never needed to use it or mention, because you know...that's Law.

That or he just knows more about this particular ability than we readers are aware of, or were aware of at the time.

Law knowing about the Voice of All Things, despite not having it, is also a good theory.

However, despite Law mentioning he's interested in becoming Pirate King, he had zero interest in the translation of the Red Poneglyph... maybe because he didn't need Robin?

after all these years i still dont get all these fights regarding Zoro’s power compared to other characters.
Zoro is the SH n.2
Zoro is included in the worst generation.
Zoro is Luffy’s “backup”
Zoro, also if there isnt such position into SH, is the “co-captain”

Imo Sanji, Jinbe and every single SH are relevant too, everyone for his specific reason.
But guys, Zoro is like Rayleigh.

am i wrong thinking about Zoro being kind of co-captain?
This doesnt state he will fight or kill this or that, is just a matter of fact.
are you giving the Zoro the "co-captain" monicker just based on his current/supposed bounty and battle level/feats? no offense, Zoro is a very popular character but have we ever seen him in a leadership position (especially outside of the battlefield)? to my knowledge, every time the Strawhat Pirates divided into sub-groups, Zoro was never the leader.

sidebar - with Luffy developing his Ryo mastery and new techniques, do we see Ryo playing a bigger role in future story arcs? future enemies/allies that may be Ryo users as well? can't wait to see what Oda reveals.

as for Ch1000, if the spoilers are true I can't wait to see what Gomu Gomu no Red Rock (GGnRR) will look like and how Kaido will react/take to the attack. also, Luffy is using Ryo with Gear 3rd - so he can obviously use it with the other forms. can't wait to see what he does with G4th

I don't think the crew has a co-captain. It's a more loose crew than others. Luffy just wanted certain things in his crew (cook, doctor, musician, etc), but other than that, it's not a hierarchical crew like others with first mates and division commanders, etc. It's just 10 friends going on an adventure.

"Luffy, Zoro and Nami are the 3 triggers of One Piece"
So...you are using a color spread from before anyone else joined the crew and that hasn't had any relevance...i'm safe to ignore this from here on :)

I'm using a statement by Oda.

crew members vary in importance, will you give the same respect to someone who joined in chapter 1050 as someone who joined in chapter 50 ?

One Piece is fundamentally a story about circumnavigating the globe, obviously the navigator will be a central character

You are right about it. Zoro is the captain, however, he is not acting on it because Luffy called dibs on it first.
Back in FMI, seems like he had the intentions to take over as the captain but considering that Luffy too had CoC, he didnt act upon it.
He is both inviting members into the crew as well as stopping them from coming back unless they act properly.

And, there is of course plenty of people who confuse Zoro for captain, rightfully, which never happened to any non-captain.
Zoro is either the captain or nothing and in SHs he chooses to be nothing. Same thing when he was invited into the Baroque Works.
His condition to join was if he would be the leader and since they denied he chose nothing - not joining.
