I've got kinda mixed feelings about new opening of One Piece because it looks like... ending and as an ending it would be very great one. I'm sort of disappointed, expected great opening like 20, 22 or 23 which were really good.

Well its sorta of because it is an ending. If you notice the entire subject matter of the new opening is still Wano even though the arc is about to fully wrap up. So this opening is essentially the closing of the Wano arc and likely will be what they use for a short duration (at least the visuals). I expect updated visuals once we are in Egghead.

For reals it is ridiculous. Now I'm imaging something like Kizaru using Yasakani no Magatama on Luffy and G5 Luffy instead of dodging like most people do actually just jumping on the light pellets (?) towards Kizaru instead to land a hit. Heck with the lightning stuff wouldn't be surprised if G5 grabs a laser beam and throws it back at Kizaru or something. The anime to me has captured the sheer wtfness of G5 better than the manga.

If Kizaru's awakening is creating like some sort of world of Light, then it'll just become Luffy's play ground. Homie was casually walking on clouds and then he somehow summoned lightning what kind of shit is that.

Just seen a clip of the current episode, specifically the lightning scenes of luffy vs Kaido and the animation is exquisite!! If this was how G5 was introduced, I imagine It would’ve been so much better honestly.

I just saw a Jubilee vid of white liberals vs black conservatives. And two of the white liberals wearing One Piece shirt I wonder if Hasan started something. I never said that WB wouldn't ultimately sink Navy Headquarters when it was all said and done. I said he wouldn't do it if Ace was still alive..

Ace would have escaped, so he would have done it is what you don't seem to understand.

Only few outcomes:

• Ace is freed, he escapes, Whitebeard remains behind to stop the Navy from chasing after them... he destroys Marineford.
• Ace is freed, killed, crew escapes (but BB appeared and things changed), otherwise the result would be.,.. he destroys Marineford.

Ace being alive doesn't matter, the point was he would either escape which would lead to WB destroying Marineford, or he dies and Marineford is sunk. Just read chapter 573, literally states it.

Your original point was Admirals could have saved many lives and that Navy could have been protected, but the reality is both are false. The situation is one where you can only do what the circumstance allows.

• Can't protect Marineford from someone who can destroy the world... would be like saying you'll protect New York city from destruction when there's an asteroid coming to destroy earth... New York is on Earth.
• Or, protect people from something that destroys their habitation.... can't protect people if you can't protect where they live.

Whitebeard could destroy the world, therefore, he could have destroyed Marineford. it simply just rode on when Ace died from failure to save him or when he escaped which then would result with Whitebeard focusing on its destruction.

BM and BB have never shown that level of speed nor power against that kind of enemy. Kid nor Law never had an issue of keeping up with BM, not even when she became serious. They also tanked some of her most devastating attacks.

You do realise the purpose of FS is to attack before your opponent can?

It's not a matter of speed, FS showed what was going to happen, Shanks anticipated it, moved his crew to changed the outcome of events and then attacked before Kid knew what was coming.

• That's not speed, that's foreknowledge.

If someone was going to punch you in 10 seconds, you knew which hand they'd use, what angle and all the details and you knew 10 seconds before hand... pretty much guaranteed to win especially when your opponent lacks the power to see the future too.

Also forget it's strongly suggested Blackbeard defeated Shanks, he said his scar was not due to being careless, so you can't really judge speed of these characters.

Shanks arguably used 1 of his strongest attacks right off the bat, can't say the same for Kaido or Big Mom who have only progressively used weak to stronger attacks. They trolled the entire fight for the most part.
Like I said, different circumstances.

And Magellan took damage from Luffys attack as well. Luffy at that level shouldn't be able to hurt a lunarian.

If he did hurt Magellan, then Luffy is at that level.
Magellan's real strength is his DF, he's not particularly strong from what we've seen.
His DF is just absurdly OP.

I meant, if he was a lunarian then Luffy shouldn't be able to hurt him (which he isn't). Luffy right now in G4 couldn't hurt the Seraphim's, so Luffy G2 pre time skip wouldn't be hurt lunarian either.

I think I read that is a thing the actor Akainu takes inspiration from did in his films. Sort of like George Clooney's look down then look up thing.
