The readership of NYT is on the older side so i love how the paragraph points out that not all of its audience are made up of children.

I don't know if this is the thread to ask this sort of thing. But can Kizaru fly or levitate or something? Sometimes I get the feeling that he sort of hovers for a short time. Like when he attacked WB and was then attacked by Marco, was he floating or something?

No, that was just a very high jump. Only Logias of elements that float in nature (such as smoke or fire) can do the same as long as they transform on it. In Kizaru's case, he can move at speed of light in one direction, or through reflective surfaces.

And light can't stay still. It always moves, unsurprisingly at the speed of light ; that's where the weight comes from.

Why not? Esentially, when he's in his logia mode, he's no more than a hologram. With enough control...
I only wonder how deep Oda went in developing his abilities.

This question just popped into my head (maybe it's already been talked about). If the SHs and Law had stayed longer at PH, Doflamingo would've been toast. Think about it. Luffy, Law, Zoro, Sanji and Smoker...unless you think Dofla can handle all of these guys by himself...and if that wasn't enough Aokiji was going to show up...Maybe he would've escaped by taking hostages like the children or someone

This was probably already discussed and I'm sorry for posting so much today but I had a theory that goes back to the thriller bark arc.

Lola gives a vivre card to Luffy when she leaves saying it is her mother's. Could it be that it is big mom the Yonko's card? Luffy might use it as a favor to help him in the battle against Kaido that will most likely happen soon?

What about Kora san? We saw Law mutter Kora san before he was knocked out by Dofla.

I think Kora was probably a D, someone who inspired Law, or gave law some secrets about them

Most probably it is how you say.
Maybe also he gotten his hat from Cora-san same as Luffy gotten his from Shanks. They way Law looked at Luffys hat at one moment makes me think that.
Also Laws and Luffys wanted poster look very alike and maybe its pointing to more parallels.

Well we saw both took their farewell from Ace's and Newgate's graves, so while they might not be fused into one pirate crew, they will be allied for all intents and purposes of keeping their territories as save as possible, whatever is left of those after BB's rampage.

I believe it was a straight foreshadowing. Shanks suddenly inviting Marco to join his crew ddn't have anything to do with the plot so it's probably one of those clues Oda likes to leave around.

I'd bet my ass Whitebeard pirates are allied to Shanks if not part of his crew.

Wouldn't Shanks be too strong if WB's crew joins him ? I can see them being allies, but joining them... That would be too much to handle for any pirates or the marines IMO
