I agree with you, it seems like another New "New World" pirate . We really don't need anymore older characters being shadowed .

Edit: The guy sword is different from Hawkins, and Hawkins carry his sword on the waist.

I think older characters being shadowed is amazing. Its extremely difficult for an author to keep all kinds of characters relevant throughout an entire series. It really shows the story writing skill.

I think it may be random pirates being shown then. Since Oda has underlined that this world is ridiculously vast so it'd make sense there are fairly strong ppl who never get fully revealed.

It needlessly to say that it's reasonless for Oda to shadow pirates that were introduced after the two year timeskip . Clearly we knew who they were and now we see them again on Big Mom ship ? That's crazy . I understand older characters but not newer character in my eyes . If anything character we might of forgot about should of been shadow out instead .

Maybe he did it so that people would think exactly that: "Oh, there are characters I've seen before! Could some of these dark silhouettes also be characters who were shown before?"
It certainly generates more interest than if we knew (or assumed) that they're all strangers who will only be shown later.
I'm sure they will be shown again at some point... it's not like Oda to make a character and not use it. As far as I know he loves foreshadowing... sometimes with literal shadows.

I noticed that . In actuality I think some of the pirates that were in the tournament was pirates that had wanted posters seen throughout the manga/anime from 2 years ago . That still doesn't give out a point to shadow out Big Mum crew every though we just seen them on fishman island and now recently on Big Mum pirate ship . If Oda really wanted to save unseen pirates for later he had plenty of choices to replace them .

Great find. The guy with glasses also has a slightly resemblance to one of Shanks crewmates.

You can easily spot Pekoms and Tamago as #2, and Hawkins as #5.

I can think of #1 and #7 as Shiliew (without his hat) and Avalo Pizarro. #4 could be either Lucci or Laffite. #3 looks like CP9 costume, but I have no idea.

Speaking of number 7 did we ever find out who Jack is? I can't seem to recall.

Not, not yet. I think we won't be seeing any of the unknown faces until we reach Kaidou or in and around that time. Which I think may be a while yet...

So I was putzing about the internet, looking at the recent One Piece figurines when I came across the new Rebecca figure. I was like, "I don't really like Rebecca, but the figure looks good", so I check it out...and was promptly greeted with nakedness. Yes, this new Rebecca figure apparently allows you to completely strip the character down to where she is wearing nothing but boots. Surprised the hell out of me to say the least. And it's not like it's some bootleg operation. The sculpts the people (Portrait of Pirates) make are pretty fabulous. It's kinda weird they'd go to that extreme.
