I think only Chapter 0 is canon, the movie not really.Oda released that chapter with the movie, but as you can tell it doesn't cover all of the events in Strong World, it's a flashback of some sort. After the movies come out, Oda often retcons them from the canon, as said in the wikia.

Based on dialogue, I somehow concluded they bumped into the skirmish and decided to make a move. I'll re-read it again to be sure.

Thing is if chapter 0 was canon, then what happened in the movie is irrelevant story wise. Shiki even looks younger or similar age to Whitebeard, so how can one say he doesn't have it in him anymore? We simply don't know what he's doing or what he's done.

As far as One Piece goes (bar movie), he's not defeated Shiki and Shiki is still MIA.

Dunno and honestly it doesn't matter that much. I tend to regard anything related to movies as not canon,so pretty much everything relating to Shiki and Z are like that to me.

I don't understand why the two of you are so sure about Strong World being not canon. The Wikia says that in big red letters, but what's canon in One Piece has never been stated officially (like Disney announcements regarding Star Wars Expanded Universe), and the Wikia is just pushing a personal opinion regarding the matter.

I myself don't see a reason to question the canonicity of Strong World. There's a special chapter in the manga about the movie, and after the Thriller Bark arc the manga skipped a few weeks within the story, almost as if saying "insert Strong World movie here". Film Z however doesn't fit in the manga timeline and it contains several irremediable inconsistencies.

This is why I also don't believe that Weeble is the one who cut Zephyr's arm. If it turns out it really is like this, then we can pretty much forget about Shiki.

Why would the canonicity of Film Z means Weeble is not the one who Zephyr's arm? If you are wondering why he's mentioned way before he made his debut in the manga, Zephy's backstory was written by Oda:

That's actually quite worrying, I wonder if that's one of the reasons why we had such a short chapter this time around? He probably should've taken a few weeks/a month's rest at the end of the Dressrosa arc.

He should take a 6 months break or so, I'd rather he breaked than went on hiatus indefinite like HxH, lol.

Yeah he's a workaholic, he doesn't sleep much , I think 4 hours a day. It really isn't much. And yet people still complain when he takes his usual break.
Personally I think it's not enough, he could take a month break once a year to take care of his health.

I think by having regular breaks (weekly) is better than taking a long break over a period of time like once a year. Of course he can still have his annual long breaks, but frequent breaks in between to rest is in fact, more important to the body. It is like we work/study 5 or 6 days a week and take 1 or 2 days off. Then we start another week working/studying again, then off day, and so on.

This would allow the body to rest and rejuvenate our health on the long run. If one can sleep 7 to 8 hours a day would be ideal. I believe it will give the body sufficient rest and allow the person to work better.

I wish Oda the best of health!

A month or two off couldn't hurt, especially if it's beginning to effect his output. Maybe Jump should let him take a year to work at his own pace and turn in something whenever he finishes without the rush.

No, that wouldn't work, he might as well go monthly if that were the case.
I'd rather have 1 or 2 months break a year if that meant 1 chapter every week for the rest of the year (excluding holidays and the like), and Oda taking some time off.

Actually yes it seems likely that Capone is currently allied with BM, just like Drake is allied with Kaido.
I think there's a strong parallel between these two, which is why I think the island Capone and his crew got sucked into could be part of BM's territory.
Drake was seen visiting a winter island which turned out to be Kaido's favorite island, and he was "greeted" by Scotch. I think it could be similar with Capone, except it's BM this time.
We don't exactly know the details, but it could be that after getting a beating from both Yonko they decided to rally under them, instead of opposing them, which is one of the two ways to survive in the NW.

Yep, agreed. Not to mention that Capone's DF (from what we've seen, I'm sure there's much more to it) could be very handy for any Yonkou, really; being able to "conceal" in your body like, the strongest members from a Yonkou's crew, or even the Yonkou himself/herself.

Although I think it would be a lot cooler if he could store those hundreds of Zoan users, it would be like unleashing hell itself D:
But I'm sure Big Mom's crew will have some surprises of her own.

Definitely, I hope he's not using the lack of sleep to fuel his creativity, no sleep can have detrimental effects mentally. Do mangaka in general usually have health issues? I'm sure the HxH mangaka needed back surgery or similar iirc?

From what I've seen for the past 5 years or so, yes. Every year, a lot of chapters from different mangas/authors wouldn't get published due to [insert health problem/emergency here]. I know some were way more regular (or should I say irregular?) than others, and I think at some point One Piece had a lot of those unexpected breaks, but it's gotten much better now.

I've seen a lot of articles detailing how working in the anime sector is just barbaric and extremely stressful, not to mention the very low pay, but I also think the same applies to manga authors. I mean come on, with everything that Oda has by now, he could have a building all to himself and his team, like those Google buildings or something, with beds and games everywhere, yet they just continue to kill themselves with work because that's all they do, they just can't find the time to do anything else, and it's really sad.

I'm just a fan like millions of others who is fortunate enough to be able to read the manga (without paying a thing) and watch the anime (thanks fansubs), but it's really sad to know that authors and animators don't get the credit they deserve, and more importantly the breaks and workplace conditions that they should've gotten years ago.
