The Egghead arc's animation has definitely been great, especially during combat. Seems like OP anime's budget has been better since Wano. They also have learned some lessons about having more fluid fight sequences after some of the oversaturated scenes in the Kaido v Luffy fight. The new episodes Garp vs Kuzan was really great and makes me look forward to Luffy vs Kizaru.

On a side note, hope Chopper gave the drug recipe to other Minks. Being able to go Sulong for short burst during emergencies without moonlight is a huge achievement. I'm guessing with time duration may be able to improve too. In mass this would definitely power up the Mink Army during big battles. Think about how Jack likely would have lost if that drug was available to them back then.

While not extensive, I'm glad Jinbe was able to prove himself in Egghead to some extent by fisting Lucci after Zoro was having trouble with him. Further reinforces to me how Oda has proven Jinbe to be right up there as a reliable fighter for Luffy, so I'm happy about that.

The massive holes left in Enies Lobby and now where Lulusia once stood should, in theory, should cause a significant drop in sea levels due to the vast amount of water rushing in to fill them. But since the sea levels apparently don't drop, it must mean the water has to flow in from somewhere else.

Could it be that this water is emerging at the Reverse Mountain? This might explain the mysterious phenomenon of the waterfall there, where water seemingly defies gravity by flowing upwards instead of down, by a sheer pressure causing it to do so. And that seawater would end in the Grand Line again.

This would also imply that everything is connected to the Mountain. And if all seas are really connected to it, beneath it might be that mysterious All Blue, where all seas life travels through.

Just a late night thought.

The rise in the sea levels is a mystery, and it's not simply caused by the water missing from the Lulusia hole, the math doesn't work


On average, the ocean goes 4,000 meters deep. So in order to increase the sea level by 1 meter, you would need a volume equal to 1 / 4,000 to the water in the ocean, or 0.025%

The ocean covers an area of 361,000,000 km² of Earth. Being very generous, let's assume the Lulusia hole has an area of 100 km². So the Lulusia hole would equal 1 / 3,610,000 of the water in the ocean, or 0.000028%

If you displaced the water from the hole in Lulusia, it would increase the sea level by only 1 milimeter. It would require the weapon to be make 1,000 holes to increase the sea level by 1 meter


But more important, Lulusia was an island, it was land not water. If anything, a hole should have lowered the water levels

Besides the water levels only increased after 6 days, so it's not just a matter of displacing the water. The effect of the Ancient Weapons is more complex, and the hole in Lulusia may be just a side-effect

Before I get to the topic of this post, let me introduce myself, my name is GoodOldZinc, I love watching anime and movies, playing video and

I also want to give a disclaimer because I want to be honest with you guys, I asked this question many times on many of forums. And I'm not doing this
with any bad intentions whatsoever, I swear that I legitimately don't know the answer, and when I do get an answer something happens that brings

My question is about the One Piece anime, please note that I do not read the manga, and the question is this:

In the Skypiea arc in the One Piece anime series, Enel, who is the main antagonist of that arc, says he's "god", is that true?

And if so, does he mean he’s A god, like Thor from the Marvel comic book franchise or does he mean he’s THE God, the one one that Muslims and Christians pray to?

And did any of the Straw Hat Pirates believed him?

Jinbe, Zoro, and Sanji are poised to stay in a deadlock for the rest of the series, and I'm totally peachy with that. They all fill different roles that none of them can match each other on. Zoro has proven to have ridiculous endurance and Jinbe functionally shrugged off the same attack that killed Ace but Sanji's almost a literal tank. Sanji and Jinbe are both ridiculously strong, but Zoro is probably a cut above what with the magic sword and latent CoC. Zoro and Sanji both have high utility with Zoro's range and Sanji's flying, but Jinbe is basically a water wizard who if near water is a hard win condition against almost any DF user.

Luffy fulfills all three niches at a higher level than all three of his top lions. Now to see how the rest of the crew is cemented in Elbaf, before going into the Throne War.

And no, Enel is not a god. He called himself like that. Bear in mind that Japanese gods, tho, work in a very different way than Western/Middle-Eastern concepts. Usually more akin to spirits.
In Skypea, it refers to a gubernamental title, which is why Gan Fall is the current god. You can read more about this in the Wiki.

I also advice that you mingle in the Hangout! It will be easier to understand the dynamics of a forum over there.

Pretty much what Uriel said.

They use the Japanese word kami, which literally translated means God, but in Japanese folklore/religion a kami isn't exactly the same deal as in western beliefs a God is. There are several kami, ranging from all powerful ones kinda similar of gods of other beliefs, to very minor ones that are more akin to spirits. An old tree for example might be considered kami, spirit or heart of a forest.

In Skypiea Kami, or God, is a title for the person in charge. Like president or governor.

So in Western standards Enel is not a God. He is not an all powerful creator of anything. And even in Japanese standard he is not a true kami really, because there is nothing supernatural of spiritual nature to him- he is just a guy who ate a thing that gave him powers.

In Skypiea, Kami is just the title he gets, because he is took charge of the place with his sheer power.

Enel himself though may delusionally think of himself as a true God. But he is not.

TLR: Enel is not a God. He is just a president who took the position by force, and may have a god-complex. But is not a real God.

Glad to know that one CO 0 the interview with Luffy and Kaido's fight is been confirmed dead. I recall hearing he survived and in Wano epilogue.

To be honest, this Vivre card revelation actually makes me mad with Oda.

Franky could have been explored more as a character in both Egghead and Wano. Wasted the opportunity twice. This is worse knowing that Oda is perfectly capable of developing a character in a short amount of panels (As shown already with Mr Pink). So you are telling me there is absolutely nothing to be said about an abandoning father and his re-encounter with his son? Couldn't the themes of parenthood and the parallels between Queen and Kaido with Franky and Yamayo be told? And then raise a new layer between Tom and Oden as mentor figures, and even deepening the relationship between Yamato and Franky! And not even mention talking about chosen families! And how that could be tied up with Sanji and his trust in Zoro and Robin versus his biological family!


To add salt to the injure, I was already kind of sus because Oda wrote Zoro as unempathetic with the death of Vegapunk (Even if it was not in the end, he didn't know that) or the fact that Gear 5 seems to totally suppress other emotions rather than laughter (As seen with Vegapunk as well and the post-depression Luffy had) which makes me wonder how repressing feelings could actually be freedom.

I'm annoyed.
