Anyways, just realized that Lilith doesn't seem to be making an attempt to go back to the mecha action figure Vegapunk. She seems content with sticking around with the crew for now, so maybe she'll be sticking around for several arcs like Law did.

He's definitely going to give Luffy an unexpected spook at the very least. I fully expect him to get roughed up again but it's definitely not going to be the one-sided immediate stomp it was at Marineford. Personally I'm more interested in how their respective flavors of CoO are going to clash than I am about their physical power levels or w/e.

If there's any two characters in the series who should showcase a clash of CoO (that isn't future sight) it should be Luffy and Coby.

Well I was thinking and really well we still do not have a strawhats finding the devil fruits. Which before Haki was a main thing.
So I said Punk Hazard, Nami getting the Yuki Yuki fruit and becoming a snow Logia. I said Oda kind of maybe hinted at one of the strawhats getting a devil fruit with his ask of Franky in Dressrosa. Franky's refusal made way to strengthen Sabo but also because Franky is not meant to be in those ranks of power by Oda that the devil fruit would grant him.
Notice he did not ask Zoro or Sanji who would have benefit from the boost in power. Now here is this, the other devil fruit on Pink Hazard. It was wasted on Smiley. I feel Oda did not do that just to give insight into Blackbeard and Whitebeard as well as Devil Fruits.

So back to my guy Sanji. For him with that devil fruit it would take away the swimming ability that Oda showed with Sanji. So it seems pointless. But Sanji's ability with that is basically kind of redundant with Jinbe added. Sanji is a physical fighter who kind of lacks strength compared to Luffy and Zoro even with his power up. He threw away the Raid Suit. A zoan ability would boost his physical traits. The axolotl devil fruit is a zoan. The other thing is that it is an amphibious zoan. What can happen is it defies devil fruit users not being able to swim. But it can also take away his ability to swim for more power. The axolotl is apparently a Salamander. It was shown to be monstrous in size due to what the holder of the devil fruit is. Sanji vs Queen, does the future pirate King want a monster that can easily dismantle beasts like Queen. It was mentioned in terms of being emotionless for power. But it can also match with the axolotl and the previous form being a monster that petrified people. Also remember Sanji has fake turned to stone before by way of Hancock, they use similar fighting styles. The ugly version of Sanji as well, Duval. Who was leader of flying fish. Axolotl is an aquatic creature and Sanji flies. Sanji teaming of with Jinbe to take down a monster and Sanji fought using Skywalk. In this case Sanji refusing to be a monster would relate to the axolotl going from a previous monster form to not being so with Sanji. Next, the salamander aspect. Prey to flying creatures. Sanji father uses flying and his style was the Garuda. Garuda is a bird. Sanji brothers fly and he was their prey.
Sanji reading book of devil fruits as a kid and someone eating the fruit he wanted. Then someone else getting it. So a monster are Sanji's wanted devil fruit then now a human. Previous form of devil was a monster and now human with Sanji.
It would kind of make things come full circle for Sanji. But in his case while he remains the form of prey he becomes stronger than his family. Also the Observation Haki would fit with salamanders and mention of them having sensory skin. Although said to have poor eyesight, which Sanji counters with Observation Haki like Fujitora. Also if you read about a salamander it can go without eating for weeks I believe. Which fits Zeff and Sanji stranded dilemma. One Piece wiki says the axolotl remains amphibious unless the undergo mutations, like Sanji. Only other amphibious devil fruit shown was from Page One. Who happened to fight Sanji who was happening to fight in his raid suit and undergo mutations.

I do not know what abilities Oda would give him but we saw Lucci using Geppo in beast form. So I guess Sanji would the function similar to a Dragon. Also a certain form of salamander excretes toxic substance when threatened, would make him similar to Reiju who saves him from captivity, although not needed in Sanji fighting style. Anything about how tough the skin is could basically be negative by exoskeleton. And of course Oda can add whatever special touches he wants. Apparently they can regenerate lost limbs (Sanji rival Zoro and slicing limbs) and internal organs (something Oda can relate to Sanji having briefly fought Doflamingo and Sanji gaining traits of his enemies). And actually has defenses like poisons. Which although he did not fight Magellan can improve his defenses. It might be hinted in why Queen did not use poison pink, since Sanji did not have those defenses. It seems a good fit.

I doubt Oda just left two useful Devil Fruits on Punk Hazard for the enemy to capture rather than to find a way to give Strawhats power boosts.



Also random but mentioning swimming Rayleigh swam across the calm belt, Sanji shown to be like a fish man underwater. Oda has kind of connected Rayleigh with all three of monster trio in my opinion. Snuck Sanji in there sneakily. And Oden has traits of all three.

Also may have found another clue on the Sanji will have Conqueror's Haki. The isle of women where the elder mentions Luffy having strong Haki, later revealed to be Conqueror's Haki. Yet he bowed to Boa Hancock. Sanji did similar and sacrificed himself to Big Mom and basically bowed to her. Same as Zoro bowing to Mihawk. All three basically did the same thing. And two of which have been revealed to have Conqueror's Haki out of the three who did this who are of the monster trio. Since Zoro just unlocked it we know it is not exclusive to Luffy in the crew, it wouldn't be unrealistic that Oda may have it in the future plans but is giving. And given the idea that Rocks was Roger's greatest rival and had at least four members with it and Roger had at least three, it is not impossible that Luffy's crew was written to surpass both in power.

Oh and for people who doubt the Haoshoku cover and the cocking, and say cocking is really cooking well technically two things:
-Katakuri trident and has conqueror's Haki. Even if it is a 4 prong item on the cover.
-In America you have superman which would be the American version of the Germa concept minus the lack of emotion. Except Superman would display it over Lois and fake mother. Then you have Aquaman with the trident who is king of the sea and superhuman. Sanji is able to swim undersea. So in terms of Americanized concepts not impossible, Aquaman is also a Blondie. But the cover obviously is a play on cooking then CoC (Haoshoku) and then King (Conqueror) with a crown. The play on the word cooking is simply the cook will eventually get Haoshoku haki. COC and King twice may also be that Sanji gets the advanced form as well.
I would expect the case being Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Yamato, then possibly Hancock if she joins all having the ability to use ACoC to varying strength levels.

Can't help but feel baffled when some people advocate for Yamato to stay in Wano out of concern for Wano citizens safety, all the while not even bothering to mention how Jinbe left his homeland of Fish-Man Island, which not only got threatened to be wrecked by Hody and assassinate its king, but also has a history of being dealt with discrimination and getting their mermaids kidnapped. Feels hypocritical, since Jinbe has been shown to care about Fish-Man Island otherwise.

I thought that was cop out on Oda's part. Especially considered how she was introduced and used to prolong the final battle and her reward is to remain in Wano with no real reason other than to help protect it. I still think, Momo should've been the one to defeat Kaido to begin with, I don't think, it would've made Luffy any less weak for the simple fact he was there to help free the people of Wano. Plus, him fighting Big Mom instead with Kidd and Law would've been more epic honestly.

They really had a "Gohan/Cell" moment with Momo and Kaido and blew it honestly. Luffy doesn't always have to be the winner and it showed how when he loses the story gets better. Marineford was a prime example of this.

well i don't know if its right to write it here, but i would like to ask you if it's been theorize that raftel could it be kinda of luna park made of rubber? imagining that one of the roger's crew tried to step in first, made him bouncing everywhere which let everybody lough??? i mean if the devil fruit awakening can made the sorrounding become ones fruits element, like in punk hazard, it seems plausible that Joyboy made Loughtale of rubber, isn't it?
If the rubber is most ridicoulus power fit everybody around it smiles, it seems legit to me that Raftel is made of rubber...??

Random thought... what if as a counter to imu's apparent ability to turn his subjects into demons luffy has the ability to turn his followers into cartoon like beings that share into the unique properties of gear 5... With imu being able to grant powerful beings powers as we have seen I think it'd make sense if the strawhats get something similar. it'd also be a quick way for the lesser strawhats to bridge the power gap with other yonko executives.

Oda (2016): I had conceived the initial plot of Film Strong World to dig into the secret of Nami's birth. The movie staff was shocked to read the content. The story became a little too touching, so I revised it to be more exciting for the young audience.
I wonder if we'll ever pick up that plotline again? I can see them doing a spin-off ln about it.

I honestly think that the strawhats got new bounties after egghead that still haven't been revealed yet. No one has actually READ the paper yet. Robin did, but got distracted...

1- Luffy has that new image with the X on his arm. Its weird that Vivi would slip that in as a message if it weren't also on this updated poster. The odds that a Strawhat would read any one edition of the World Economy News Paper is just too low.
2- Dorry and Broggy get an update, which is weird considering the strawhats don't.
3- Robin gets distracted before she finishes the paper.
4- A Giant in Chapter 1136 says that it was foolish for Road to have even attacked the strawhats before checking their new bounties. Which could be their Wano ones, but still...
5- Its weird Bonney didn't get a bounty increase especially.

I‘m sure it wasn‘t like this but just imagine the following:
Some of Lego‘s higher ups actually do read One Piece, were impressed by Road‘s Lego diorama and just thought as we all did: “One Piece and Lego just make a perfect match. Why on earth is there no official merchandise available?“
