So, I'm about to finish Dressrosa and yup, it's one of my favorite arcs. And I feel like through Dressrosa arc we already seen glimps of how final war against WG and Imu specificly may look. Doflamingo have exactly same view on commoners like Imu do so it's not hard to guess what was his final goal: to take over Imus throne. Though seeing what's going on in Elbaf now I'm sure he wouldn't be able to do it no matter how hard he would try. Anyway seriously, Dressrosa is such great arc. No matter how many times I watch it ending always makes me soo happy............... and slightly disapointed because "Hard knock days" is one of my favorite openings and I won't be able to start episode with it anymore. I also find it super funny that everyone are running together with our heroes aaaaaand then there's Hairudin who is berely there because he's soo big that you can only see his feets. Oh and there's Usopp draging Zoro back so he won't get lost.
God, I love this opening.

Btw, I really like Fujitora. Since his sense of justice isn't twisted by WG in any way he must be such a pain in the ass for them. You know, because he ironically "see" things for what they are: slavery is evil, pirats sometime are heroes, WG often cause troubles for people and then dare to shamelessly take credit for the solution. Espesially if pirats are involved in it because who have seen PIRATS acting all noble and heroic, nonsense. I also liked that Sengoku became as insufferable and annoying as Garp. It's also very ironic that he greyed fully AFTER he retired not DURING his stressful days as fleet admiral. I bet they have whole lot of fun pissing off Sakazuki with their antics.

Oh yeah and Kaido being "strongest creature in the world" made me laugh soo hard. Sure, he was something else but he held that title only because Loki was imprisioned in Underworld back in Elbaf. I bet Loki would quickly take that title from Kaido if his pirat career wasn't nipped short before he got TOO famous.

I'm more surprised that Loki isn't higher in rank. He's just behind Yamato and he's actually such hype character, I really thought he'll be bit higher. Btw, I don't understand why star of one movie is soo high. I should get to "Red" at some point but I don't like Uta. She appeared out of nowhere and was pushed as Luffys first friend before Ace. After all those years it just dosen't makes much sense to me.

As someone who isn’t even an Uta fan, it’s not impossible for me to believe Luffy had a friend before Ace. Heck, we didn’t even know about Sabo for the longest time.

Well yeah but Sabo made more sense than her. He was also kind of forshadowed by Aces tattoo even though back in the beggining crossed out S was just big mystery.

I don’t know. I just don’t think characters always need to be there early or even foreshadowed to be interesting. Even Imu, Rocks, and Yamato who were introduced late are interesting to me.

For me, it’s not about how early you introduce characters, but how relevant you make them.

You're right but as much as I love many movies even though most of them are pure fillers I tend to almost instantly forget about characters that were created only for movie purposes. You know, because they dosen't have any value for story in general and I won't be seeing them again. Sure, they are interesting like villains of Film Gold or Bullets from Stamped but since they dosen't seem to be part of main story I don't keep them in mind as much as characters that may be relevant to the future. But eh, mayby I dislike Uta soo much because she genuinely tried to kill Luffy despit being his friend and he was really upset about her leaving. Well, about Shanks sending her away actually. But still, that's horrible betrayal on her side because Luffy was really happy that they meet again and she decided to fight and even attempted to kill him. So yeah, I won't like her just because she's cutesy yet still powerful idol/singer.

Oh ok, I checked again and it really was just list of characters that will be in Top 30 but still unranked. My bad, I wonder though how high will be Loki after how hyped he was.

Well at least he theoretically "existed" since "Shanks" had his talk with Gorosei. Though even now it's wild for me that many OP fans were basicaly hell bend on "Shanks is evil" theory. I never was one of them but now that I know Shanks was born Celestial Dragon it's true that even as pirat he could have rights to go up to Marie Geoise to talk with Elders. Since Shamrock from the get go was interested in recruiting Loki I wonder if he could talk about him back then or it was something boring like mentioning how dangerous are Luffy or Blackbeard.

Oh my God, Loki is 20. Somehow he landed BEHIND Usopp who is 19. Yamato is 18 btw, at least my man Law is 5. I mean, I wish Loki was higher but 20 is still pretty good. Too bad that he SOMEHOW got outrun by Usopp of all people. Not that I hate him or something but to me he's just "meh" most of time.
