Hmm I don’t think the fight was high diff for zoro. More like mid diff. Very similar to Luffy vs Hody.
I also don’t think stomping a doll-less Hawkins is a big deal for anyone.
For me it’s more about the people you’ve put in the same tier as Killer.
Katakuri for example. Does this mean WCI Luffy would struggle fighting Killer as much as he did with Kata?
I don’t think Killer did any significant damage to Kaido but we don’t need to get into all that.
To me it makes more sense for killer to be in your YC2 tier. But that’s just my opinion.
Thanks for sharing your list
To me, it looked like they were fighting almost on equal terms, until the distraction from the monk dude which got Killer to land a blow.
After which, they both went for their final clash, and Zoro won it.
To be noted also that Killer was with unfamiliar weapons in the entire fight.
Well, who took out the dolls from Hawkins? Most, if not all, of it was taken out by Killer himself.
Yeah, I think post WCI Luffy would win against Killer, but struggle a lot. Killer is up there with post WCI Luffy in pure stats .Power creep hit Wano pretty hard

Let's compare. Killer definitely has higher attack power than both Katakuri and WCI Luffy, no doubt about it. He can damage Yonkos, and has capability to deal internal damage, one of the most potent type of damage outputs in the series. While beginning of Wano Luffy deals zero damage to Yonkos.
Killer can tank hit from Yonkos. In fact, he tanked hits from Yonkos, and then went onto stomp a fresh Hawkins.
Killer's combat speed is relative to Zoro's, he can definitely hang around with WCI Luffy in combat speed. The dude was so fast that he blitzed the living shit out of Hawkins.
Now, I'd say that even though I think Killer overall belongs to that tier, Katakuri wins a fight mid-high diff, but that's due to matchup really. Future sight + mochi body will mean that Killer will barely be able to land attacks. But by the same token, Killer fare better against say Yonkos, because of his superior attack power. Matchups matter.
Going by purely feats, I can understand if you'd consider Killer in YC2. Killer lacks in feats. He only got to fight against Hawkins, but that was honestly just a stomp, the only tension was caused by the hostage situation. So, he didn't get an opportunity to go all out and impress, like say Zoro or Sanji.
But, I consider portrayal/author intent as well. To me, it seems like Oda considers Killer a rival of Zoro, in the same way he considers Sanji a rival of Zoro. Both weaker, but trailing behind close to him, each of them can push Zoro to a high-extreme diff.
Oda also considers Killer as one of his chosen 5 of the young/upcoming generation. Killer receives a lot of hype from the author himself, and that deserves some acknowledgement IMO
Great post!
I love that you put this much work into it
Thanks man
Imo, you can't beat Katakuri unless you are fast like Kizaru, can nullify his DF like BB or can see the future. We've seen with Luffy that despite seeing the future, Kaido was able to speed blitz him during the roof fight because he was insanely fast.
Kid didn't display any hax speed, nor the ability to see the future. His DF is great, but is more effective if there is a lot of metal around. So yeah, hard to see him beat Katakuri. Old hag has a shitty fighting style and didn't display anything spectacular other than her being a tank and having gorilla strength.
Kid can disrupt Katakuri's future sight through assigning polarities. He doesn't need to land a hit on him for that, just get close enough where Kaatakuri is in the radius, which I think should be doable for Kid.
IMO a fight between them is going to be a slugfest, with Kid eventually outlasting Katakuri.
BM has combat speed relative to at least base Kaido. So, Kid keeping up with her in physical combat means something.
And again, I think matchups matter.
IMO Katakuri can defeat say Zoro due to matchup, but overall I'd consider Zoro stronger.
