@Hannibal Psyche I agree. I meant it more like that he was way too cocky at end of 930 apparently knowing it will be a disguise which he couldn't know and then he assumes in next chapter and also implies he knows how strong P1 is while he couldn't possibly know.
Anyway, Sanji is the closest to a normal human that we got among the Strawhats and is limited to combat with legs only and nothing from his repertoire implies that he was able to handle P1 easily, at least nothing that we know of. I assume he has more to show from his 2 years training because he didnt show anything except Hells Memories and moonwalk.
What I want from Sanji is more development about his fire element, I dont know where Oda is going with this and not sure if Thriller Bark scene was a gag or foreshadowing for something. I want far more devastating kicks, he lacks a lot in that segment. Luffy is splitting towns with his KKG and Zoro is slicing mountain-sized stone giants and Sanji has shown nothing close as destructive as those two. Setting opponents on fire with HM doesnt cut it for me. He needs his kicks to be equal to Lucci's Six King pistol or similar to finger pistol but with that diameter imagine how deadly that would be. Hardening development, like you said, is something he needs to use as a basic technique because it really is basic in New World.
I like the suit but I hope it doesnt improve his offense and he has to do it on his own. I think it looks cool and may be even better after redesign. I dont mind that it provides durability as I think Sanji needed that desperately, speed boost and levitation are ok as well. Stealth factor is a tricky one, it's unfair advantage unless CoO is able to pick it up which it should since stealth is just visual trick so in the end it may not be cheap at all if CoO users dont have a problem with it.
Addition of Jinbe, if he isnt fish fries by now, would indeed push Sanji back but he may have a comeback if he shows development in the sectors mentioned earlier. He could even use CP's slicing techniques Rankyaku and that would also make him much deadlier. Fire element is interesting but Oda needs to decide already if he will make something of it or pursue another way...

Never was much of a fan of his normal outfit so the suit is a great change for me.
