Giving chase accomplished nothing though. Really, all he did was a little skirmish with Zoro and nothing else, he didn't manage to stop anyone, not for long anyway.Still gave chase and didn't stop what he was doing until by cards, not because he was inadequate, so I don't think you can say he was really focus more on mission compare to his card predicting as that how he always roles.
"Hawkins can get majority of his crew and Beast Pirates for lives" so he can go ahead and sacrifice the majority of his crew and the Beast Pirates for lives, that's fine then? What?Lives he can get more of and 2 men is his big lost? Nah, Hawkins can get majority of his crew and Beast Pirates for lives and it's not shown he felt bad on losing them one bit, so again I don't see it lost for him as for Zoro on his side. If it was really that bad, why continue on when he soon face off with Law and took another of his lives. He doesn't care and see it as no lost factor as he can always get more and make more. So to say it's more Zoro's favor is still not right attitude.
Who cares about how much of an asshole Hawkins is in regards to who he sacrifices. It's not about how much it weighs in his conscience, it's about human losses. The fact that he doesn't care about his men doesn't mean his men's lives aren't wasted. Any way you look at it, Hawkins's side, or Kaido's side in general, keep losing men because of Hawkins. That is a definite loss, regardless of how little Hawkins cares about it.
My point wasn't even about that anyway. He can replenish his doll lives as you say, and he doesn't care about those he sacrificed. But in the actual fight itself, he has a limited amount of lives he can have at a time. He already lost 2 in mere seconds against Zoro, imagine if the fight had lasted longer and he kept losing more lives. He was pretty lucky to have lost only two in my opinion.
I'm not going into other websites tbh.I said for others, not me. I still think of it as a lost, but others are free to think on what they think. Though just saying those who said it's in good favors of Zoro get countered harshly since that chapter, so I am just letting you know in case you try spreading in that fashion on other websites as not many would think your way of thinking.
It's fine if not many would agree with me. Everyone's entitled to its own opinion. I'll be glad to talk to anyone who thinks Hawkins won that fight against Zoro, since that will never be right in my eyes.
Hummm... When Hawkins summoned his large doll thingy, Zoro one shot it with his first named slash. He didn't seem to need fire to defeat it. The fact that the material is straws isn't the problem here, the tricky part of his DF is the fact that any damage he receives gets redirected. And if you're not aware of his DF, you're hella confused; even Kizaru was surprised at it. There's also the fact that he summons different things depending on his cards, and you never know what will come next. That would surprise anyone, not just Zoro.Law can get around him due to his own DF can countered his, Sanji can do so as well since his fire can burn the straws and damage faster, and Usopp might have a chance with him as well due to having explosions and fire ammo in hand too, and so on. Don't think he give everyone a problem as there can be others to counter him, but Zoro with him cutting him down doesn't see right idea especially isn't there a saying it's better to burn straws than cut them? Plus he has bad history dealing with tricky opponents for awhile, so again not best person he can fight in the bigger perspective.
Zoro has a bad history dealing with tricky opponents? Well maybe, i don't know. Which particular fights are you talking about? Imo a tricky opponent, by definition, is tricky for anyone aside from direct counters.
AH, he bled against Fujitora? Or maybe you're just talking about injuries in general and not litteral bleeding. Anyway, of course i remember his struggle against Fujitora.Actually second time he bleed. He was injured before by Fujitora which is why many also don't think he was Admiral level much and plus Fujitora show more in fights with Sabo and Luffy. Though back onto the debate at hand, again I feel it's a lost, but others are free to think on it. Though from fandom's point it is not in good spirits for Zoro in the end. As for Hawkins showing, I haven't seen bad stuff about him doing poorly, mostly they underestimate him and see Hawkins stronger than they realize after 2 years timeskip. There are few who said he 'lost' out of it, but again got countered on their end on the thoughts.
Again, the fandom can think what the fandom wants to think... Doesn't make it any more valid. I'm actually surprised to hear that the majority thinks that it's a loss for Zoro, but knowing that won't change my mind on the matter.
Yeah, i also doubt that was all he's capable of. We'll be seeing more from him combat-wise, i'm sure of it. For now though, i'm unsatisfied.Didn't know your felt that strongly on Hawkins' performance, but doubt it be the last we seen in fight though. Also I agree with how you feel though and glad we have a reasonable talk, so lets end this now since it's getting off topic like you said since this is Sanji's thread after all.
Yes, a Sanji thread lol let's get back on tracks. I don't even remember what the Sanji conversation was though, so.............
