Akainu has better haki than them, as to why he recieved low damage. They did hit him, just wasn't enough to stop him

The fact that Akainu said in the same panel that they are using haki and described it as an annoyance probably means he had a way to deal with it. The only possibility I can think of is putting his own haki in the way so that he can logia-dodge in peace. Admirals demonstrated the skill of making invisible haki barriers earlier so it's plausible.

Are you ignoring the knowledge of Akainu having superior natural defense than their attack? Or soely focused on how damage was illustrated around a concept that was just appearing and has been expanded upon...

He took damage, it was low damage..I'm going to rewatch and re read the chapter..I'm sure there was small blood splatter when Marco hit him

It is unclear how Akainu dealt with those two haki infused attacks. Maybe he split his magma like Aokiji modified his ice to avoid being stabbed by WB but the magma being split so clean..idk. Also, it looked like they hit him without him seeing them coming so in that case I have no idea how he remained unscratched.

He has advanced CoO and split his body before impact, i remember him reforming after their attack.

You are absolutely correct. Vista cut Akainu's face and he turned into magma, and only mentioned haki users were annoying. & Akainu only slightly dodged the attacks...
Only in the anime does it show blood.

Why do Ppl feel like Sanji cannot beat Croc because he's a logia?? Fodder logia's weakness were that they were suppose to be like glass cannons..i.e Cracker...Oda seems to have let go of that idea, but Croc if I may so so, seems to be one of those type of logia users. His endurance & stamina dont seem all that high. Not higher than Sanji's...and in terms of power Sanji is physically stronger. Croc's ability however is strong, when you think about dehydration, how he can dodge by turning into sand positioning himself to gain the advantage constantly and his AoE.

I think Crocoboi is far stronger than we realize. Meeting Luffy so early on did him no justice.
He has shown tho that he can take on a full blast in a face from Jozu and walk it off, that attack made an Admiral bleed.
Next time we see Croc, he will be among the top Yonko commanders.
His DF mastery is among the best, no doubt. Give him a FS and he is basically a Katakuri.

Smoker has feats of him fighting stronger opponents both than crocodile and Sanji. So it makes sense, Sanji cant defeat a physically stronger logia user than himself.

No, Crocodile cant be a Katakuri lv character, until he shows the same level of physical superiority. Katakuri with his CoA was putting a pounding in Boundman. That's high lv strength. Doffy couldn't even do that.

Either way, Crocodile is getting too much hype. Or ya just taking a cheap in Sanji now.
Sanji beats Croc with or without RS. No it won't be easy peasy. Still yet, he'll win because he's stronger, faster and has haki that can hurt Croc...Croc has a lot going for him except haki, and some new feats to show his true threat lv.

I just csnt accept the reasoning why as most would think Crocodile would win.

There are no feats showing that Sanji even has decent CoA, you cant use CC as an example since they never fought (every kick he laded on CC was when he had seastone cuffs on)to begin with, Caribou let himself get kicked, Franky made it clear.
I dont expect Sanji to be good at CoA like Luffy, Zoro and Jinbe but he has to show feats of CoA before we can start assuming he can beat Crocodile
