Basically Black Star means that 3sword fighting style is no big deal to him as he, being an assassin, possesses such a prowess that all of his strikes feel like being struck by a sword - that's when Tsubaki tries to hint that he also has another sword, that is her. But Black Star being Black Star chooses to interpret her hint as a reference to his, ahem, yeah, d*ck}

This was an awesome chapter... Really impressed with Black Star. I used to hate him too, at the beginning of the anime - he has since become my favourite character in Soul Eater.

The last page of the chapter looks very ominous though... should we expect an end to Medusa?

Really nice chapter although I'm still not really sure, what excactly is meant with this clowntheme, I hope that this will be explained in the future.
Medusa won't die, no matter what, she's got an uncountable number of lives, Justin on the other hand can die as I don't really like that kind of character.

I bet the ending scene is no more than a Medusa's hallucination (considering all this Justin's merging with the clown and what not). She'll snap out of it (she must've some fail-safe plan against going completely mad, right?) or overpower him with her own madness (unlikely, but still a possibility), that's for sure.

and i don't think it was medusa's hallucination, i believe she is actually caught by justin, but she'll most likely escape by breaking up her body into snakes much like she did when stein cut her in half. and i doubt her new arachne-body will be destroyed that easily, i mean she JUST got it a few chapters ago.

I'm a pretty big fan of the series but I entirely agree.
The pace has gone weird to the point it's hard to pass it as an artistic touch on the "insanity" theme. I can barely tell what's going on and how long it's been since the last event occurred...etc
After stein came back as a good guy all of a sudden without much of an explanation, everything kinda went into a time warp with kids weapons totally being chill with his being captured and tortured, maka wasting time with some fixation on angels which I don't really care about and random missions revealing some research on insanity clowns which we're told is an important mechanic but turns out to not do anything tangible at all.

Save for the fight sequences, I'm simply not sure wtf is going on at this point. I'm sure there's a point to all of this but it's just not as enjoyable a read as before.

My thoughts exactly. It almost seems as the author just completely forgot what was going on and he's just inserting random events and fights which have no point at all. It's like I'm reading Bleach. o.o

And for crying out loud, no one seems to care about Kid, not even his weapons? C'mon! It just makes me sad how one of the best characters is tossed away like that. : /
