You can use your 3DS as a controller for Wii U version of Super Smash Brothers. However, you need both versions of the game in order for it to work.

Holiday season is such a horrible time for our poor wallets, isn't it.

I remember Skyward Sword and 3D Mario Land were released on the same day in EU. It was in November as well, so the rumor seems believable.
Although it kind of bugs me why Nintendo then hasn't officially announced its release date yet.

Smash demo was better than I expected. I thought the game would be pretty bad on the smaller screen and low powered nature of the 3DS, but it was surprisingly pretty fun. I wanted to play as shirtless Shulk but hes not in the demo? Unless theres a way to unlock him on the character select screen.

Ill probably get the game in full eventually.

The next hyped game is Shadows of Mordor, which looks awesome, but I hear it's pretty short and the ending is terrible.

The next hyped game is Shadows of Mordor, which looks awesome, but I hear it's pretty short and the ending is terrible.

Destiny is underwhelming considering how hype surrounding it was build up before it was released, just like another Watch Dog. I think Bungie is just doing the same stupid stuff after releasing Halo 2. Not a terrible game at all, but does not live up to its expectation.

Shadow of Mordor is actually pretty good - I haven't reach the ending though.

I'm really excited about Metal Gear Solid V right now. After looking into it more it seems like they have brought over a lot of cool aspects of Portable Ops. MGSV was something that got off on the wrong foot with me in terms of advertising and promotion. The seemingly hyper sexualized sniper Quiet stuff they promoted around E3 made me wince. Kojima tends to have one foot in the James Bond style and one in Tom Clancy's and that can be good and bad. He's also got one of the best(Grey Fox) and worst(Raiden) track records in terms of characters.

But this gameplay demo from TGS sold me on it because it looks like there is so much substance here. It looks like there is a base system, a companion system, more of a mission based structure, and just about everything from the portable games I've wanted to see worked into a big metal gear game without seeming to lose any of the things that made the previous big entries so fun.

And the idea that you can actually use characters like Quiet serve for more than just eye candy makes me a lot more optimistic about that side of things too.

God, that's such an overreaction honestly. Where were people complaining about Sniper Wolf, Fortune, EVA, or The Boss? All three were pretty sexualized. MGS obviously has a Bond-esque tone to it, so having attractive characters is nothing new. It isn't even like they aren't equal opportunity either... Vamp anyone? So they went with even less clothes due to the climate and her stealth abilities (flimsy excuse but whatever), who cares? The game is rated Mature btw.

I was thinking of getting a new tv since my current one is only 37 inches. I was trying to go with 60 inches or a 65 inch one, but then I was like maybe visual quality is a bit more important than size, I assume higher contrast ratio is better? I really only use a tv for games as well and my current can look bad for dark games ;(
