Because I guess we'll get to play as a thinblood for a bit before we pick a clan.
I'm not 100% on this (I've not played VtM [the RPG,
not the PC game] for an age and might well be confused) but I'm really not sure it works like that.
Thin-bloodedness is seen as a scourge, with earlier generations hunting them down/persecuting them (as they fear their existence as a sign of Gehenna). It signifies a weakening of powers - something which can't just be randomly
'cured'
I do wonder, however, if [lore wise] you could cure thin-bloodedness via diablerie, I really dunno - maybe someone who is more up to date with the VtM lore could answer.
I guess it
should be possible - and would be a more acceptable method [to me at least] to become a 'full fledged kindred' in game
Speaking about Vampire The Masquarade, I think I really need to play the prequel. Many people seem to be loving it.

If so, yes, you really do need to play it!
It's one of my favourite RPGs of all time - if it wasn't
quite so janky, it'd definitely be my favourite
