Be strong man, dont think about the parting but about the next meetup.
Btw your language is nice, actually pretty fun to learn save the whole "learn the gender of every noun independently" stuff...
But the pronounciation is so hard! "Welche Sscchhhpprrrachhen sschhhpprrrichhsstt du?" ... you serious man?
Staatsangehörigkeit is easily my fave word though, thinking in spanish sounds so derp... but you feel great with yourself after saying it

How did you explain it?So today, I had to tell a first grade boy that it wasn’t appropriate to ask a girl to see her underwear
Zimb quite the opposite of the overprotective dad trope. Would that be called an underprotective dad?You mean 'what would I think if someone asked my daughter to show them her underwear'?
As I said, it all depends on context - For example: How old will she be at this point? Who is asking? Why are they asking? Etc.
TLDR: If they are going to try and see what she is wearing under her clothes then I'd rather they asked her first, then didn't.
