Personally I really like that one, but it's a total crack pairing anyway (I don't think they've even really spoken) so I don't know why it needed to be shot down out of the blue...

I'm not one to bash a pairing no matter if its a crack pairing but Lucy with Sting just brings up a big feeling of disgust. Not to mention any FT member with ST members in general with recent chapters.

No offense meant to anyone who ships those pairings but count me far out from them.

I have yet to understand HOW that pairing came to existence :/

I think RaveDragon meant Lucy with Sting as she quoted my post.

I agree with her but then again there are very insane pairings made daily. *Makarov X Jose was the most disturbing one I have heard yet.

Yeah that's a weird pairing. Too much Aquarion EVOL lately? He is not Kagura's pondon to Natsu[Amata].

edit: Lucy would be KaguraMikono in a love triangle, that doesn't exist in FT.^^

Never watched Aquarion. So Amata is Natsu while Sting would be Kagura? Lucy is Aquarion?

Ok so Lucy is Mikono. It hasn't got to that point yet. I really hope Mashima avoids a love trapezoid as Natsu/Lucy/Lisanna is good for now.

In my opinion Lucy doesn't fit to Natsu at all.
Lisanna is the only one, who "deserves" to be on his side and goes with his nature - their contact seems more naturally, because they know each other since their childhood. For me, they seem really close, tough Mashima doesn’t show much of their relationship.
Lucy is too much of a princess, to goes with Natsu.
So I would pair up Lisanna x Natsu and Lucy x Leo (I really, really like this pairing).

Elfeman x Evergreen as much as Gajeel x Levy speaks in his favor.

I also can Erza just imagine with Jellal - these two are my most favorite couple. *-* I don't think, that the difference in their age is that much of a problem - it's only 7 years. I think Erza really fits to these "bad boys"
What I also really liked was that proud face of Laxus, as Erza defeated the monsters in "Pandemonium" - I could also imagine her with him (weren't Jellal there =D).

Mira I would pair up with Laxus or Freed (I'm quiet impressed by their fight while Laxus' battle of Fairy Tail).

These obvious hints with Gray and Juvia I totally hate. I don't like Juvia; in my eyes she's a stupid woman, whose brain pauses, as soon she sees Gray - in view of that she's too weak.
At the beginning oft the manga/anime, I really wanted him with Lucy, but now I think they don't suit each other at all.
I totally like the thought of pairing Gray and Cana up ... tough she would also go with Hibiki ... hm, really difficult.

At the Tenrou arc, I thought Wendy would end up with Mest, but now the difference (especially in their age) between them is too big, so I think she could end up with Romeo.
I also think Porlyusica and Makarov would be very sweet. xD


By the way ... all pairings are not important to me, as long as Erza ends up with Jellal.

Why is there so much hate for Juvia? Better hate Mashima for turning on her baka mode once she's seeing Grey. Wasn't the Meredy fight very good?

And Grey and Lucy? That is one weird pairing, what do they have in common, when did they interact aside from being in a three/four member group?

I find the whole Doranbolt X Wendy pairing thing kinda disturbing...

He's obviously an adult (and that was before the 7 years timeskip), and she's only 12.
That's just... giving me shivers just to think about it.

After the timeskip, I think it's pretty clear that Wendy will end up with Romeo.
He's 13 years old, and he wants to become just like Natsu, so he will probably become a more important member of FT.

Lucy doesn't fit Natsu? Based on what? They've actually said that they enjoy the parts of one another that they find odd. And Lucy gave a whole speech on how even if she's from a rich family she loves hanging out in a dirty bar and going on violent missions with everyone. How is that being too much of a princess?
Also, it's an actual fact that people are significantly less likely to be romantically interested in someone they've known since childhood. They're inclined to think of them more as a sibling. The theory is that the brain does that to prevent incest.

it think it has been stated numerous times lucy really does not fit the princess role, Natsu particularly said he doesnt see her like that but in the bar of fairy tail having adventures. Then again i used to ship both nalu and nali so Im happy anyhow but lately theres almost no Lisanna so I prefer nalu...

Why don't they fit i mean they stated they have the best relationship with each other (early in the manga we got this interview so now they probably got even closer), and happy too, so i don't think it's a matter of fitting because the whole love triangle fits, its a matter of what will happen and what serpenttailedangel said =]

Well we have seen them interact from time to time even as recently as after their loss in the tournament or when he went to her house to remind her about Natus's duel with Erza. I have to admit that early on in the series I leaned in their direction as they seemed to share a random misfortune of getting stripped at some point in an arc and Gray seemed to be susceptible to the type of charms that Lucy took pride in. I'd imagine they interact more than with people outside the group of four.

I thought about it all night and this is what I've decided. Since Rogue is only interested in Gajeel, and if it doesn't involve Natsu then Sting doesn't care, both of them are clearly gay. However, Natsu and Gajeel have both expressed interest solely in females, meaning Sting and Rogue's feelings can't be returned. The two still get along pretty well, so they should just realize they're prefect for one another.

That's my new defense for if I post something that ships the two.
