why thank you kind sir! as for the ship in 4...well it is kinda hard to control at first, all i do is use the accellerate button and the left/ right directional buttons to steer. once i've had the location marked on my map i just use the autopilot. lol.Venom65437 said:Wow level, your LEAST favorite Suikoden is 3?? Damn... you even like 4 better??
I really want to get into 4, but I just can't control that damn ship.
Pretty good list you have though.
i liked 3 cause i enjoyed getting to see the various perspectives and the cast of villains is my favorite due to it's connections to the past issues.level4paperboy said:why thank you kind sir! as for the ship in 4...well it is kinda hard to control at first, all i do is use the accellerate button and the left/ right directional buttons to steer. once i've had the location marked on my map i just use the autopilot. lol.
i didn't get into 3 too much since it lacked the one thing i loved about the series: collecting characters. i mean the enemies are SoD's? wtf? besides that i found it a little too ambituous, and i also didn't like the buddy system they had in battle formations.
oh btw..i've been aching to ask this for quite some time now: what do the different colors in your ranks mean?
the thing i liked most about 3 was that more than any other (except 2) it made a strong effort to tie its storyline to the others to more effectively create the effect of a combined and flowing history and backstory within the game.level4paperboy said:oh i see, thanks for the info...it oddly reminds me of the military....
three had a good storytelling system going on, but i really hated some aspects of the game as a whole
1. less characters to recruit (there were a lot of "buy one take one" situations)
2. easier recruitment
3. buddy system in party formation
4. the fact that everyone looked like midgets...
5. the story was pale in comparison to the other games
thouhg i did love the whole "trinity site" thing going on, and the option wherein you get to control Luc's party, and even koroku. plus this was the installment that introduced the whole "personal skill" aspect of the series, which i loved...but it's still not that great of a game for me. i take it you like geddoe's view and ending better than the rest?
good point, it acts as a pretty good glue to bind the history together. i just found it a tiny bit too ambituous for the first of it's kind on a new system. i liked geddoe's story best since it deviated from the cliched hero story, and geddoe himself was more of an anti-hero than a hero. personally i'd use Viktor with the SDS for a sig...he's always been my favorite character.sahugani said:the thing i liked most about 3 was that more than any other (except 2) it made a strong effort to tie its storyline to the others to more effectively create the effect of a combined and flowing history and backstory within the game.
and actually i liked Hugo's story most, then Geddoe, then Chris (but did not dislike any). Geddoe just made for the coolest sig. if anyone, i'd have wanted Bob from S2 or Futch from S3

Wow, I remmebred now, that 4/5 years ago I played on Snes DQ 5 or 6, i can't really remember, and it was one of those games, which are beatiful in everything ^^ Ahh sentiments xDsahugani said:Dragon Quest
