It is so strange to think Twin Peaks is coming back. I still can't believe X-Files was given a chance to come back either. Crazy good times for fans of popular canceled tv shows.
It's too late for Firefly unfortunately (as Joss and the actors are reluctant to return so long after from what I remember). At least for a live action revival.
Yeah, Firefly and Deadwood are at the top of my list too. And Freaks and Geeks (but obviously not for them to make a new season now).
Deadwood movie has been on and off for so long... but I saw news about as recently as like a month back so I'm never giving up hope!
Speaking of Whedon projects which need continuations, he needs to get on Dr. Horrible 2. He said so confidently like six years ago he'd definitely make it, then he got caught up in some little Marvel movie or something and promised he'd make Dr Horrible 2 as soon as his contract with them was up. Now he's making a Batgirl film apparently. I more or less like pretty much everything he does, but every new project he announces which isn't Dr Horrible kinda breaks my heart a bit.
You keep hearing things about Deadwood getting a movie. Hopefully, would like to see that cast once again.

Well both Firefly and Freaks and Geeks got bad ratings because for some absolute bollocks reason the network aired the episodes out of order. So all character and story development just went out the window, making people lose interest.
I've read articles about it several times but still can't comprehend why anyone would do something so illogical and stupid.

Also, Powers Boothe (Cy Tolliver in Deadwood) died like a week ago.. it's something they can work around I assume, but still. Darn shame. I know it sounds totally egoistic and all, but if only they hadn't fecked around so much with the movie, all the original cast could've been in it. If it's ever made, of course.

So far I think Twin Peaks is the oldest canceled show to be revive, right? So that means there is hope for just about any popular dead show. Fans of Young Justice thought a season 3 would never happen but it is happening. Maybe more will follow?

I may be late to the party with this, but I'm three episodes into A Series of Unfortunate Events and have to say I enjoy it more than I thought I would. Some have said it feels like Wes Anderson and Tim Burton got together and made a family TV show, and I definitely see where they're coming from (the first episode in particular could have been directed by Anderson for all I knew). But there's definitely a lot of Barry Sonnenfield (show-runner) in there as well. Nice tongue-in-cheek, gloomy comedy fun for everyone.
I'm not going crazy over it or bingeing it, but watching an episode now and then. I'd recommend to give the first episode a try, and if that's not your cup of tea then definitely don't keep watching because it sets the tone very firmly.
I liked it too, but it didn't really feel anything like the books. You hardly get to see the kids, and so much of it was changed. I really did enjoy Neil Patrick Harris performance as Count Olaf though. I was really against him playing the character at first but after finishing the show I was really glad they put him in the show. Plus, the things that he personally added or changed made the jokes 1000x better. lol

Madison revealed something about her past that shocked her kids but honestly with how fierce she is and willing to do whatever it takes to keep them safe it honestly wasn't that surprising.
I'm glad she managed to make peace for the ranch and with the Native Americans. I really didn't want to see rehashes of The Walking Dead, as I don't like that show for a reason.

I haven't watched Orphan Black since season 1 concluded. I'm rewatching it now and I'm remembering why I fell in love with it and Tatiana's performance. Anyone else watch it and still keep up with it?
I feel such a fool right now for not starting Fargo until now. The Coen Bros.-film is one of the very best of theirs (and they're on my favorite filmmaker-list) so I was skeptical against it before it came out. Then it was praised to no end but for some reason I still didn't watch it.
In any case, saw the first episode earlier today and it's one of the best first episodes of any series I've ever seen. It's been pretty much all I've thought about the whole day. I'm afraid I'll be up halfway through the night watching.. but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Yes, it is pretty amazing remembering that one actress is playing so many different characters. I'm really surprised she hasn't won anything for her work yet, she clearly deserves it. At least for her portrayals as Helena and Beth Childs (two of the most "different" clones in the show).
I binged since last Thursday, so I'm only three (maybe four lol) episodes behind on the latest season. Been one hell of a blast! I heard this season is the last...that isn't true, is it? Because if it is like the rest and only has 10 episodes how in the world are they going to settle the plot with 4 more episodes left?

The Ozarks is out on Netflix guys. I just finished the first episode...not bad. I do hope it gets better though.

Just finished the show. DAMN! I loved it! I can't wait until season 2, just hoping it doesn't turn out like S2 of Bloodline! 9/10 show! I recommend!

I wish I wasn't the only one posting here.
The latest episode of Orphan Black hit me in muh fee fees! Another superbly written episode. I think I only had one flaw with what happened, and that was mainly that the character involved should not have "fallen" for the trap "set" at the end of the episode. Infuriated me. I hate it when my shows do things like this.
Beyond that...TEEN WOLF! WHEEE! <33 It is far from perfect. It isn't Breaking Bad, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, (season 1 of) Homeland etc but gosh darn I do enjoy it. Mainly for Stiles but I still enjoy it. It is sad to see it end, but it can't be "Teen Wolf" if they're all not teens no morez.
Anyways, y'all need to post more in this thread. You're making me look weird.
Finally coming to the end of my rewatch of the original Twin Peaks. All in all... second half of season 2 was pretty much a lot more shite than I remembered, the rest was still as golden. So pumped for the new season now.
Also the new Wet Hot American Summer series out. As someone who liked the film, loved the last series (haters gonna hate) I can't wait to watch this one as well. Recommend at least the first series (First Day Of Camp) for people who like stupid, stupid, tongue-in-cheek humor and some of the best comedic actors of today in one show. Can't speak for the new one yet.
