Fairy Tail
1. There's nothing to Base estarossa and his family being the only ones with seven hearts on. Estarossa said superior demons have 7 hearts, the Tc are the most superior demons,so I dunno why mera wouldn't have 7 hearts. Btw Fraudrin is a substitute and graylord is a mutation from an expiriment.

2. I dunno about the grudge thing, all I know is mera said magic disappears when the caster dies. Merascylla magic is the one keeping her zombies alive and that's a fact known when elaine said she's alive because merascylla is alive.

3. Yes she arrived with them but all of them came from separate locations before arriving in vaizel and if she already told them about escanor and galan situation before arriving in vaizel then her explanation to estarossa for why she wanted to kill meliodas was unneccesary.
1. Well I think Esta, a superior demon, saying that Mera, another TC, is dead after getting just five hearts stolen, is something to base that on. He should be able to tell if Mera is dead or not.

2. Yes, Mera's magic brought Elaine back, but it doesn't say that the magic is keeping the people with a grudge alive. Onhangon no Hou gives the revived a choice. You either act based on your grudge or you perish again. Elaine would have died at some point even if Mera was alive as she lost her grudge. So Mera's magic brought them back, but doesn't keep them alive for how long she wants.

3. Well if the others didn't knew what happened, I'm pretty sure one of them would have commented on Mera's appeareance or on Galan missing.

I have a theory. We know that the two Commandments that Meliodas killed are called Aranak and Zeno. The fate of the other is unknown and he has a mask. What if he was the original Balor and a Giant? He seems taller, bigger than the others and is shirtless just like Dolor(at least from what we can see). Dolor is said to be the founder of Giants but he is much younger than Gloxinia(1400 for Gloxinia and 880 for Dolor). The age difference between him and Diane is actually not that great. Maybe the Demon King did something horrible to him and it's the reason why Dolor joined the Commandments?

Well, given what we have seen the implication seems to be that dolor and gloxinia joined the demon clan out of their own free will (though we can't rule out demon powers making them crueler than they would otherwise be). Even when mel spoke to them he made the point that gloxinia was betrayed and something about dolor's power. Dolor being the founder of the giants would seem to be inaccurate at this point. Giants are supposedly the oldest race which should be somewhat inconsistent with gloxinia being older.

I had forgotten about this. I am not saying he didn't join of his own will, but that he might have joined because something happened to that person. Maybe he wanted to replace him because he has been humiliated and is aiming to kill the Demon King for revenge. We know he's the honorable warrior type.

Not necessarily. It could simply mean that Dolor is the founder of the clan system. There may have been giants way before that, but they lived solitary lives?

I am not so sure there is a "clan system". I mean, you are talking about him inventing the concept of a bunch of folk from the same species living with relative proximity to each other. That sounds rather weird to be honest.

That is only if you account for the giant clan Matrona was leader of. There have been other clans; Diane's gaiden showed that other clans occupy different territory and can even be at each other's throats. Matrona killed Dumbelbass who was clan chief of the west iirc? How far away was never specified but it is not necessarily even part of Britannia.

I did think of those clans but I didn't think they added to your idea. Dolor inventing the idea of a giant village does not have much effect on there being multiple villages as far as I can tell. I am not sure of what your point here would be.

Why not? If they lived independently before and randomly fought each other for dominance - be it for sexual partners or for living territory, hunting grounds, etc - sooner or later it could drive an entire species apart and possibly even into a state of endangerment. A clan structure based on agreements that such disputes are neglected for the sake of living together is imo a huge deal because it ensures that the race continues to exist, it will even grow in population and the exchange with many different people will overall make the individual giant stronger as well. For someone who had the improvement of his race in mind with the future view of shaping them into strong warriors, it is pretty revolutionary in my opinion.

Unless there is a form of Proto-Giants that we've yet to see and Dolor was the first of the giants we currently know, it's probably a plot inconsistency.

Given he has 4 arms and doesn't bear any resemblance to the Giants shown in Nakaba's Holy War Art he released a while back, it might be the case. But seeing as how he's also quick to change things on the fly, I find both scenarios likely at this point.

It might be revealed later that Gowther took care of him when he left and Gray Lord took his place. Gowther's powers could easily circumvent Pacifist curse and they'd be forced to get a new Commandment member since the giant would be a broken mess of a demon mentally.

Dolor became a legendary figure, it would not be odd if everything was not exactly correct. It's possible he was inferior to Dolor himself or that Dolor decided to use the name of his ancestor to unify the Giants or something. And for that he shown his superiority to all of them via the dance, his Magic Eye and his powers.

Maybe he was hiding his face to look more like that guy and hide his real identity. We don't know why he was hiding it. He's a bishonen after all :D.

I don't know.

Maybe this Dolor's real name actually was Balor then. And he took up Dolor's name because he wanted to be the strongest and so he took the name of the strongest. But then why would the humans still know him as Balor, but not the Giants? Then there is the fact that Nakaba drew a rendetion of Dolor that looked like the Dolor of the 10C.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I considered that a form of his training, he covers his remaining eye so he does not always read ahead on people's strengths?

So what do you think happened to that giant member of the Commandment? I always thought he and the doll one were killed by Meliodas.

Meliodas didn't kill him. The killer is most likely Gowther, the Demon King or Dolor

I know that but before this chapter I thought Mel killed him and the midget. Nope it was the midget and old man he killed. Why would the demon king kill a Commandment?

Could've seen him as unworthy of his Position.

I can think of a lot of reasons. Even now he doesn't seem to care about them, he just wants his dear son to be like he was before he met Liz.

The demon king have, maybe, a sort of heart? Why else does he want Mel back? Some say possession, but there must be more.
We don't actually know the relationship between father and son in the past. They could had a normal one... or sinister one...
The one who has been hurt the must of Mel's betrayal, could be his father himself. Wanting his son back to take the command, again, over TC and later become king..
The king doesn't care about the other members of his clan. He has an obsession more like for 3000 years long. He doesn't want to let go for this matter.
To much looking into this :darn

I don't think you're looking too much into this; on the contrary, based on the dialogue between King & Mel, I think the reasoning behind your theory couldn't be any more straightforward & on point.

The Demon clan was once the most dominant & prosperous clan, governed by the Emperor who had an enormous family. The strongest amongst them were classed as his own personal Elites & bestowed his very own mark. These Noble Generals were lead by the Emperor's own Son, Meliodas, who'd one day assume the post of Emperor & make daddy proud.

Everything was going according to plan, the people acknowledged Mel & deemed him worthy enough to assume the Emperor's post; everything was going according to structure......until Elizabeth decided to fuck up the whole family by becoming the catalyst to the Clan's destruction with her bewitching love. Tbh, I don't think there's any father in the world that wouldn't be absolutely livid by the betrayal.
