Seeing this thread name makes me feel like I finally have a place to put this Shinchou Yuusha gif I made that seems just a little too spicy. You need to watch this show @Brandish.

it lacks class and cuteness for him, im almost certain he'd prefer this pic over that :arf

btw @Jammin whats this anime lol ? never heard of it, what kind of thing it is, sounds weird lol ? (looking forward your nex pick in waifu war lol im almost certain who re your going to choose, now ^^ :derp
It's an isekai parody.

To give you a quick synopsis. It's basically about a goddess, whose personality is somewhat similar to Aqua from Konosuba, who gets assigned an impossible difficulty world to save. So she goes through all the potential stat sheets of potential isekia-able heroes. And finds this guy with impossibly high potential but misses a crucial personalty trait in the fine print. That's he's also impossibly cautious.

The real greatness of it is all of the insane gods and goddesses that get involved. Like the one in that gif. Basically if you want to see what a heaven would look like filled with gods and goddess who are Aqua from KonoSuba level this is an anime for you.

It's not really ecchi Erin. It's something else entirely. Though it's probably got you covered with the MC.

I've been reading through City Hero, it's great. Like some fanboys made FT, which is right up my alley. But then they downgraded Brandish so much in them panels there :teehee

Jammin, there is always a place for ecchi content in this thread, regardless of thread title, from the beginning of time, to now, and into the future. Exceptional taste.

Yea she's a snacc. What's that card about btw?
those are from the game Fairy Tail Brave Guild (if I am not mistaken). an android game, and only for Japan. outside can't play. if only outsiders can play..... the gameplay is similar to Fate GO (if you know it) it seems: chibi, team, turn-based, gacha (Japanese term for gambling to get a character), stats upgrade. Something like that

Brands I've been spamming you with plenty of rom-coms but if you ever are in the need of cuteness, check "The girl I like forgot her glasses" :blush

Hey just passing through for a couple of recommenations, i came across lately (all are completed manga)
my 1st rec is My Girl has a lot similaritieswith Usagi drop (anime) except the girl is his actual daughter, the art especially color pages/covers is amazing. Imo, the story is simple, efficient and innocent with some sweet and sad moments. Characters could be relatable, Koharu, the daughter, is adorable. it wrapped up perfectly and its short around 40 chaps.
the manga is a lot about family issues, most character have some (deceased relative, aging, parenting etc), i personnally enjoyed it a lot.

some colour pages/covers :

just a couple of pages.

also wondering it ends up how i would have loved Usagi (manga) to end, both were serialized a around the same time but My Girl ended up like 1yr and half before UD, im wondering if Ud's author could possibly just have changed his ending to avoid being called plagiaziring ?

I think/hope you should enjoy it :zomg

My 2nd is Flat (no idea why this title ?) Flat is just a nice & cozy manga, it reminds somehow Barakamon or Yotsuba, its short too, around 25 chaps. its about a careless teenager who is asked to care about his cousin ( a very shy/lonely child who startes to get attached to him), characters are great, Aki the child, is adorable as hell. Theres absolutely no drama or anything, akis parents are amazing, hesuke mother's is awesome too her interactions with her careless son are pure gold. his friends are great 2 (theres only one char who appers later i didnt like that much). hesuke is just an ordinary teenager who likes baking sweets and who is nice to the child, but who sometimes just doesnt care, coz he wants to hangout with his firends or he just forget abt his cousin.

heres a couple of pics to illustrate.

His friend are great too, heres Suzuki bluntness at its best :

but also :

Heisuke's mother :

some cute moments :

and Aki's parents, his father is just amazing lol possibly my fave char.

I have some others especially one about a family who has an autist chils, but will wait until i catch up. Hopefully you ll be interested by those 2 :zomg

Thanks for those!!

I have My Girl on my read list, so I'll be sure to follow up on it. I didn't know it was very similar to Usagi Drop, outside the obvious parent story similarity. I've never heard of Flat, so it'll go on the list. For a second there I thought the MC was Ginko from Mushishi, lol.

I did start Tongari Boushi no Atelier, got about 1 volume thru, and will continue. It's magical.

Oh you started Tongari, im so happy ! :zomg

Hope you ll enjoy it, its different but for some reasons, it has some totsukuni vibes, maybe the non usual art style, or the "tale"narrative style. I love a lot tongari, teh setting and the characters and theres Agathe
possibly one of my fave female chars lately.

Yeah my girl has a lot Usagi similarities but it s different too, in various ways. Based only on Ud anime, i still did enjoy My girl most, imo, i would say its perfect, didnt find a single flaw.

just quoting a review i agree a lot with with and that says things better than i would, (hope im not hyping you too much , coz too much hype brings sometimes disappointment)

"My Girl looks like a simple tale of parenthood, but it turned out to be so much more. It’s about responsibility, about the will to let go and confront one's sorrows, about how one adjusts to change, and about what gives fulfillment and happiness in life. It's about how to deal with insecurity, how to believe in oneself, and how to consult others instead of bottling up ones' emotions. It's not only about how to help others, but also how to impose on others when one is in need. It's about the difference between being kind, and being considerate of others' feelings. It’s about being both a responsible father and a respectable son. The story begins when a distraught guy accepts his daughter, who he never knew he had, after being devastated by the passing of his wife. From that point onwards, complementing the theme of parenthood, My Girl enriches the reading experience with tons of poignant drama and meaningful lessons.

What's a brilliant story without an endearing cast? Thankfully, My Girl delivers, and delivers big time. The main character, Masamune, is an insecure, lovesick, but charming and responsible father. His little angel, Koharu, always looks out for Masamune in the sweetest of ways. Beyond that, there’s Masamune's wise father, Masamune's foul-tempered but earnestly compassionate mother, Masamune's kind landlord, Koharu's rowdy and tsundere playmate Shuu, friends, and more. All serve their roles very well and get their fair share of characterization, often used in a way that brings out the best of their character.

From the characters, it is obvious that My Girl has a powerful vision of humanity: that even in tough situations, in times of unrest and dissatisfaction, or when people are incapable of expressing their true feelings, they are truly beautiful inside."
