Well, we really don't know how strong third origin shelia was. All we know is that third origin is by all intents and purposes the realization of her potential in a way. With that in mind there really isn't a limit to how strong she could be. I think the main issue here should be that her potential is ridiculous. Just look at how stupidly talented the girl is. Wendy was able to match her in combat but we have to consider wendy went through second origin. So shelia, at 11 years old, was able to match wendy and jubia, both mages who were powered up by second origin. If natsu from the start of the manga were to face shelia from when she was introduced he would get foderized ten times over. And natsu at the time was about 5 or 6 years older than shelia. If shelia is that strong then her fully realized unadulterated potential should be no laughing matter, springan level or not. It being higher than laxus' potential is by no means a stretch.
You have to realize though that Second Origin was meant to make up for the seven years Wendy and the rest of Fairy Tail lost. It didn't give them any advantage over their competitors, it actually evened the playing field because without Second Origin all their competitors would be ahead by seven whole years.

I don't think Sherria's potential really matters. We saw her maximum against Chronos.
- Durability: high enough to deflect a laser but not enough to prevent being bloodied by an elbow to the head
- Speed: enough to deflect the laser, but not enough to overwhelm Chronos herself
- Combat prowess: In spite of having a slayer advantage she could not overwhelm Chronos. Wendy still had to assist with an enchantment. Had the offensive power to take out Chronos with a high end God slayer spell.

^These are all achievable for someone of Laxus' caliber without the slayer advantage.

Laxus is likely more talented than Sherria. She might have been more prodigious (as a young genius type), but Laxus limitations seem to be higher than hers, given that his overall prowess is shown to be higher.

Laxus high-diff. Laxus is confirmed Spriggan level while TO Sherria is also Spriggan level at her highest point in her life. Laxus, based off power, will be able to beat her but it won't be a stomp at all, Sherria will rock him a good amount of times and heal herself until Laxus just overwhelms her
I think Laxus high diff. TO Chelia will be extremely hard to put down and definitely has the speed to rival him but we don't really know if she can do enough damage to him to be able to take him out. Her healing will make this a very long fight for Laxus.
I agree with these two :^_^. TO Sherria will be a tough opponent for Laxus but he'll come out with the win in the end :D.

This does not apply to wendy. Sure, it worked in cases where people got 7 years worth of training over the main cast such as grey and leon. But 7 years ago shelia wasn't wendy's age. Shelia would have been 3 or 4 years old while wendy was.... exactly as she was before second origin. Wendy needed to make up for a seven year difference with shelia without shelia having a 7 year advantage over wendy.

Lol you got me, I'll admit that didn't occur to me. I'll concede that point to you.

Laxus wins with low - mid diff. I don't know why were/are people even debating this. Laxus doesn't even need to use his DS magic and his DS magic is far above his regular lightning.

Because we are talking about a mage with no less than insane potential who gets a chance to realize said potential. Shelia's getting to where she was at her age is insane, wendy even needed second origin to keep up with her and shelia held her ground against second origin jubia. It wouldn't be weird in the slightest that laxus at her age did not even vaguely approach shelia (natsu from the start of the manga would be destroyed by shelia now after all). Third origin is no small thing, I cant imagine the realization of such potential being easily defeated. There is literally no cap to how strong shelia can be at that stage. My inclination would be on shelia winning though I don't have an opinion on exactly what degree of difficulty.

Shelia with her potential unlocked was shitty. She struggled against someone she had a slaying advantage against and her foe's main ability was restricted. In the end, she still needed Wendy's assistance as well. Laxus getting pushed past med-dif is a joke.

there is some truth to your words but the simply power scaling puts Laxus above Chelia.

Bluenote fodderized Chelia before her Third Origin. GMG Laxus would beat Bluenote. I put Bluenote on the same level as he was during Tenrou because if he trained he would have destroyed Base Natsu and yet he got one shotted instead. her Third Origin should put her above Bluenote and give her a chance against some Spriggans but not all. Laxus should be around Gildarts level currently. I don't see her winning here.

What powerscaling? Bluenote did defeat shelia but that is still a non issue here as we are talking about future shelia, one that bluenote did not defeat.

Well, but how much stronger would a god takeover be? Looking at mira, a supposedly powerful takeover user.... Her regular takeovers, which she seems to be capable of using casually nowadays, don't hold a candle to a springan. Her alegria takeover might hold a candle to one but in turn it lasts only a few moments. God takeover presumably involves the user of a much more powerful creature than that and on top of that dimaria can use it casually. It's not hard to make the point that dimaria's magic vastly outclasses mira if we use this logic and on top of that is using an exceptionally powerful takeover. And if dimaria is that powerful then its not that much of a stretch that shelia could be insanely powerful as well while having some trouble with dimaria.

from GMG to Alvarez. Chelia was practically a fodder to Laxus. I don't think that her Third Origin boosts her power beyond Laxus'. Laxus outclasses her in every stat. she only has self - healing but that's it.

mid diff win for Laxus is the way to go. even that is debatable.

Well, of course laxus has higher stats than shelia. But that is still a non issue. Imagine if the thread was about a 10 year old laxus getting third origin. Logically his power would increase to at least the amount we have seen now if not more. What reason is there for us to think shelia's potential and talent is less than that of the most skilled mages around? We have every reason to believe she is far beyond her age group when it comes to magic. There is no reason for shelia to not be a springan class fighter when she grows up...

well, everyone is a Spriggan level if you ask me. some of them are crap anyway(Jacob, Neinhart). Kagura, Minerva. Mirajane, Sting and Rogue should be able to put up a fight against Wall for example, especially Kagura, Minerva and Mirajane. they can even win.

as for Chelia, she had the potential but we will never know, unless the Third Origin gives or all the power that she will have in the future although I doubt that its her limit. I don't doubt that she is a none existent Spriggan tier when she has the Third Origin. she can easily destroy Jacob and Neinhart and can probably beat Ajeel.

Dimaria's takeover was not overly impressive and shed lose to any spriggan. Shelia struggling with Dimaria while stripping her of her take over proved that Chelia isn't insanely powerful.

Yeah I'm sorry but no matter how you put it Laxus takes this with very little effort, he has her beat in pretty much every way by a fair margin. Quite frankly I would go as far as saying that TO Chelia isn't even Spriggan level. She might be able to give someone like Jacob (very low-tier Spriggan level) a High-Diff fight before going down but thats about as far as she could get against any Spriggan level character. Doesn't help her that Laxus is high-tier Spriggan level.
