You can pick openings & endings of any anime that you like (series or movie, or Ova) but western animation are not allowed. However tracks in other languages are allowed.
You can choose any anime opening or ending that was released after January 2020 up to the current season (Spring 2024)
It is up to you how you define what is a best intro/outro to you. Choose your top 10 anime openings/endings based on your personal criteria — whether it's creativity, visuals, music, or a mix of everything. Your submission can even include tracks from an anime that you've never watched. And whether you like, love or hate the anime or not is irrelevant for your list.
Honorable mentions are allowed.
As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your list as much as you want.
Please, rank your top following the usual format :

1 - 10 pts

3- 8pts
4- 7pts
etc.
10- 1pts

Deadline : June 3rd(it seems reasonable, but i might adjust it if its too short or too long)

Scar is one of the character that gets a nice development. A man that uses his religion to justify all the actions he did as you have seen that he keeps continuesly use ''god'' to do his ''killings''. You can rather say a mindless person that thinks this should be the way and finding a way for himself to ''justify'' it. Which he later one, realizes, I think after he confronted Winry and Edward and wanted to kill Winry till Edward jumped in front of him which made him kinda surprised and hestitate. That was probably the turning point that there is no means to kill. It accomplishes nothing. A man with a tragic background, that got discriminated for his race and where he comes from. Seeking for revenge and yet, he turned into a man that grows, opened his eyes and finally, accepts the final step to embrace alchemy. This was shown during his battle VS King Bradley.

I think that describs him quite well. Unless I am forgetting something, but too tired. '3'

Finally a character from my list geez...

He might not be a very popular shot but its one of those characters that grew in me after every re-read/re-watch. His character progression is one of the best in the series and embodies the spiral of hate and revenge perfectly, making the final showdown against Bradley so meaningful.
We dont see good badass/angsty characters like this very much these days.

I am not even sure who is the most pitiful Homunculi, Pride or Envy? Regardless, I like both of them. Envy's dead shouldn't be this sad for what he did and yet, that scene was well made that you could actually pity him for his jealousy towards human imo. It's just as his name says, he envied them, hence for all the actions he did. Pride however, from all the homunculi he was the most innocent at all, hence the second chance they gave him. He was not aware of his sin. Personally, in that regard, I think that maybe Envy should had a second chance as well. However, I am glad they did not do that and made him die the way he did. Someone you hated, for all the actions he did, and yet someone you cannot hate at the very end. Pity is just what describes him.

The twist is only clear when you know about it beforehand, Arakawa pulled a truly masterful move here.
Envy was the most disgusting and also the most pitiful homunculus. As a reader you despise it so much, yet when you finally understand the character it all makes sense, tragic character if I've ever seen one.

Fuck, didn't expect Envy to get out of the top 10. I remember it (Envy has no gender after all) was quite popular back when FMA was in the peak of its popularity, so I'm legit surprised it only got to the 14th spot.

About Envy itself, well, I loved to hate it in the Manga/Brotherhood (it was a little shit, but its death was pitiful and I loved how it got humilliated by Marcoh and Mustang after being a cocky bastard through the series), but I despised his 2003 self (this with gendered pronouns cause in the 2003 anime Envy is technically male).

Overall, I think it was the Homunculus that represented its sin the best.

We're pretty much in the gold now. I feel like from here on it's all going to be pretty great characters so it's to be too salty about the order they're in.

Of the characters left I probably wouldn't have put Hohenheim in this group. He's a good character I'm just not sure I'd have put him on the level of the rest of these.

Agreed that Envy’s death scene was very well written, but I would never consider him a better villain than Pride or Lust. These two were just way more intriguing, mysterious and imho better scripted. Envy’s character was too much “out there” – the writer went pretty nuts with his psycho traits.

Wut. Envy was a brilliant villain. They were imposing, despicable, annoying, vicious, scary, funny and charismatic thorough out the series, and then turned out to be the saddest character of them all, the twist still making all the sense within their line of actions. Best Homonculus and best villain of the series hands down.

Definetly should have been in everyone's Top 10 :disappoint
