I think the GT Robos are the bioweapons, and they are based off the birdmen.

I don't know how the hell Toriko && Zebra && Komatsu are going to escape from this situation!

The Salamander Sphinx seems to be already too much for them, unless they show us new powerful attacks! And this situation only becomes worse thinking that at any time a Birdmen can attack them ! And the Birdmen are obviously on a higher league than both Zebra and Toriko and even the 2 together

I think the GT Robos are the bioweapons, and they are based off the birdmen.

Here's my explanation:

The Birdmen were drawn only next to the the greater beasts because those are the only ones that requires the use of them. If the Birdmen are indeed the masters themselves, then why aren't they present at all in the pictures of the lesser beasts in the books? Why isn't there a Birdman chopping up the mushrooms or de-scaling the lesser beasts?

I'm not saying I'm definitely right, but it's a plausible hypothesis as to what they are

both of you have some good point in your argumentation.
i think that saladesu's one is more plausible but even yours is not totally impossible.
so you think that these "gt robots" were lost or something and that the Bishoku-kai found one and then they were able to reproduce them?
i think they have come across "the birdmen" in the gourmet world and then they have tried to reproduce their skills with the robots

Well, I personally think the "lost people" who built the pyramid were technologically advanced enough to make these super creatures (the birdmen) as tools to hunt for ingredients and taking down the greater beasts. The Bishoku-kai was inspired by this (instead of getting their own hands dirty, just have something that can be manufactured to get the ingredients), and built their own mechanical versions, the GT robos.

Both theory are possible of happening !

But i would like more if these birdmen were actually an animal that is strong and smart enough to capture these high level creatures !

I hope that Mitsutoshi actually goes this way ! I think it is more interesting this way , than if these birdman were robots !

Cuz it would emphasize the fact that Toriko and the others in order to enter the gourmet world will not only have to worry about the Bishoku-kai, and principally is leader but also about the monsters that leave on there and the environment conditions of these places!

Why the enemies have to be always bad humans and his evil creations ? I think it is a good time to also emphasize that there are monsters that have a huge destructive power and that Toriko and the others should be aware of!

Can't wait for the next chapter

The birdmen are not bioweapons imo. The encounter between Toriko, Komatsu and the birdman made that clear. Toriko said it himself on vegetable sky that the birdman wasn't like the GT Robo at all. If you say that birdmen are bioweapons then you are totally forgetting this and ongoing pages. Toriko is clearly stating that it is a living thing, totally different from the GT robo. Please, don't start to mix up the true birdmen with GT robos

The boss lives in gourmet world, the birdmen might originate from gourmet world and what humans are in human world, are birdmen in gourmet world. Hence the fascination of the boss to create GT robo based on the birdmen design. Birdmen are probably the most intelligent creatures in gourmet world and they are probably the gourmet world bishoku-ya. That's the most plausible theory

BUT I do agree that the pyramid, palace would be more righteous, might be the creation of some older human race.

Who doesn't say that the birdmen initially lived in human world and that they were observed by humans. They might be the first creatures to have set foot in gourmet world.

I think that the discussion whether the birdmen came from human world and went to gourmet world or came from gourmet world and went to human world, is the most intriguing question in this current arc

I'd go for latter one but somehow the former one is possible too

I'm not saying they're mechanical (I've actually clarified this several times in my posts), but that they are "man-made" and used to gather ingredients by whoever built the super structure.

トリコ、ゼブラ、小松唖然
次の瞬間鳥人間が小松の目の前に瞬間移動

Toriko and Zebra's having a hard battle against the lion.
That's when the birdman appears.
Toriko and Zebra ignores it, but when it gets close to the lion...
The lion starts yo tremble and sheds a river of tears.
The birdman starts to bathe in that waterfall of tears.

The lion falls asleep after crying.
Toriko, Komatsu and Zebra are baffled.
Suddenly, the birdman, moving faster than the eye can see, appears before Komatsu.
Zebra uses a Sound Bullet.
The birdman is sent flying.
The birdman reappears from the pile of rubble.
The birdman speaks. "You... ??? ... ???... eh?" (the ???? means I don't know the words used )
The birdman talks haltingly, but can apparently speak.
Zebra says that he'll take care of this.
Zebra uses his Sound/Voice Machine Gun to let out a hail of sound bullets.
Toriko thinks that the bullets are as strong as those used by Tommyrod.
But the Birdman disappears and reappears before Zebra, cutting his throat.
Zebra starts coughing blood.
Toriko: ZEBRAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
Komatsu: *screams*

Scene changes to Coco and Sani.
Both just finished eating.
Both starts talking about their true reason for not tagging along, the true reason for why Zebra's so fearsome
After this the chapter ends.

Looks like we get to see the true Zebra next week when he pwns the GT Robo.

The fact that the appearance of the birdman is sufficient enough to make the salamander sphinx refraining from attacking and crying, is somewhat a disappointing bummer till what happens afterwards.

I sill think that the birdman is after Komatsu because he had his eyes and hands on the book. Damn, I wonder what power Zebra is going to show

The birdmen are really intriguing. It would be deffinetly interesting to learn about them in this arc. I actually had an impresion that IGO President knows about these birdmen, cause when Toriko was telling him about the one he saw in the Sky Vegetable Garden he really showed that he knows them with his voice and the face's impresion.
I actually believe that they might be pretty interesting opponents if they are hostile towards humans. And that's why it would be deffinetly interesting to see Toriko and his friends entering the Gourmet World when they will be ready for it finally.
The spoilers are really promising, cause they sow that the chapter will give as a decent fight between Zebra, Toriko and Birdman. Birdmen are really hyped and I hope this one won't be taken down even with combined power of Toriko and Zebra, especially after him bathing in that Cola.

I think that the birdman talking human is indeed something very cool !
They seem to be very advanced creatures so i think it makes completely sense that they can speak human language !

I still haven't check out with very attention the raws cuz i think it will be best if i see the chapter without any kinda of idea of what is really going to happen! But i am expecting a lot from this chapter ! Since i started following it weekly this is probably the week that i am expecting most !
Can't wait to see the chapter out !
