Re: Inoue (good and bad) Vagabond news

Actually this break is good for me too. I'm growing very short on free time as the exam is approaching. But I like to whine and such.
Well... Inoue is also busy doing other stuff like working on Lost Odyssey for Mistwalker xD
Heard about that. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

For the fans:

You should be getting volume 23 quite soon, in one go, probably two weeks from now if all goes well.

Boffen, you know that volume 22 is complete, right? Or do you mean complete downloading?

At least Hellsing and Vagabond come out semi-regularly.
Vagabond is semi-regularly. Hellsing is "Well, I'll do a chapter here, wait a month or two, give you a 5 page chapter, then I'll sit on my fat ass eating cheese poofs and banging hookers, and then after two months give you another chapter." Dogs is even worse though.

I think there are new Dogs chapters, but there are no scans for Fugu to work with. Pity (though the chapters are nowhere near the first volume's quality).

The art is still incredible though. I love Miwa's style. The furthest I have is chapter 8 of Bullets and Carnage.

You think that's bad? Try Hagiwara going on a semi-vacation to the Carribbean in order to get away from everything and to focus on drawing, then come back two months or so later with three pages done. Hagiwara is hands down the laziest mangaka I've ever seen. Too bad Bastard!! is quite awesome and I still follow it, even though it doesn't even get a chapter a year these days.

No problem. And about your avatar, I believe Vash The Stampede already has. He has a $60,000,000,000 bounty on his head.

I think he does a volume every 2 years, last should be 23.
Don't you mind that Hagiwara reinvent the plot so many times, he lost the last time, but I'm continuing to buy "Bastard"; I had to catch up.

Thanks, Boffen. We'll keep on doing what we're doing for as long as possible. And better hopefully. And btw, after you're done reading, we'd really appreaciate any input you might have to offer. We seek to improve.

Re: Inoue (good and bad) Vagabond news

The last volume was 24, and he finally released it this year. It was quite funny when they had him on a schedule for it. The chapters that were released in Ultra Jump all had unfinished panels on just about every page, so he still had to go back and finish all those panels for the full volume release.

The plot doesn't really matter in Bastard!!, that's one of the things I find quite amusing about it.

In any case, uh, yay Inoue for not taking breaks like Hagiwara.

When did volume 24 release? Last released in Italy was 23, I just checked.

Let's move this discussion here: http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php?topic=7504.0

This isn't the place to talk about Bastard!!, heh.

Back on topic. Inoue's artbooks are going to be awesome. I'm glad we're getting two of them.

Not to get off topic, but to reitterate my point, the double dollar is one of the many slight changes to existing quantities. (iles = miles, dallons = gallons, so on and so forth)

ok now ive read it, and i cant complain. i have no big issues whatsoever i think everything looks exactly as it should be.
example: Kojiros short written dialog with the old lady. i like that you choose to make it look like they wrote in english.
it keeps the reader in the moment not having to look for the meaning of those symbols i cant understand. so thumbs up for that!

when you start a sentence with: not to get off topic. there's a pretty huge chance that you are in fact going :offtopic
so stay on topic! :XD
