Black Clover being confirmed for TV Tokyo means that it will most likely air after Boruto, Twin Star Exorcists' previous slot and Vrains' current slot. I can't imagine Level 5 is going to give up their Snack World slot at 7:30 PM following Pokemon especially seeing as the 3DS game is coming out in August. The advantage to this is that Boruto's viewers can follow through to Black Clover and also ratings aren't a big problem for TV Tokyo so Black Clover can essentially be a long runner. The bad news is that this slot's viewership is incredibly low. Boruto is averaging less than 1% ratings. To give an example:

6/5〜6/11
ボルト 遊戯20 バディ
*0.3→ *0.6→ *1.3
*0.8→ *1.2→ *3.6
*0.1→ *0.5→ *0.5

This is the time progression from Boruto to Yugioh to Buddy Cardfight for the various regions.

While those numbers do mean something; viewership during certain times can change at the drop of a dime, given the right circumstances are met, so speculation on ratings that far in advance is difficult to calculate at least in my opinion.

Also all those franchises really strive on merchandise and promotion (though the anime doesn't seem to be increasing sales on the Boruto manga) than viewership to survive YGO BC especially are only getting by thanks to the TCG.

Be careful, people can start to defy math again and say you are wrong and that you are Black Clover hater. XD

I bet that it is going to be another World Trigger, an anime without much relevance.

Black Clover, much like Fairy Tail, has its base that sticks by it and unironically thinks its cool so it should get noticed at least to see how unremarkable it is but World Trigger was relatively unknown through most casual discussion outside Jump centric manga forums unlike say MHA and Neverland which had people talking before their respective anime premiered (or in Neverland's case will) if the anime did any damage it brought people off getting into the series due to its poor reception.

I've never seen someone with the right mind talking good things about Black Clover non-ironically, so...

They're all over I'm afraid. People are excited for the anime and everything but I think more for its prospects than the actual quality of the source of material of course they were already fans to begin with.

It really pains me to see something like Black Clover making success when they canceled Magico not so long ago. Black Clover is just another series with a protagonist that wins battle just yelling, not to mention the rest. Magico had a cool protagonist with some good background that could be developed really well and a heroine with a good portion of drama. It also had a good romance plot. From 2012 to now I think it was the series that people more agreed that it was unfairly canceled. We are still waiting for Naoki Yamoto to return, I would give all veterans (except Komi Naoshi xD) if it were to make him come back soon.

Actually no, he makes perfect sense and has data to prove its point. Different from a certain know who who thinks it's opinion is above everything else =)

And I repeat: I don't think Black Clover is a good manga, but it's not reason enough to simply hate because it's succedding =)

I was talking about Bigivelfhq though. He was bashed for showing that My Hero Academia is below its predecessors in its timeslot by showing data, numbers. I'm on the side of the numbers, always.

And it is you who hate things without no reason or bait just to see the house catching on fire.

WOW, Nobunaga Shimazaki for Yuno?? Now I'm really excited to see a trailer with the voices (also because I'm curious about Asta's voice).
Nobunaga Shimazaki is imo the best choice they could've made for Yuno. I recently started watching Diamond no Ace and noticed right at the start that one of the main characters called Furuya is really similar to Yuno. I already had a few voice actors in mind that I wanted for other characters but literally the first time I heard Furuya's voice actor, he directly became the voice actor that fits Yuno the best. Funny that he actually got the role^^

Would you recommend reading Magico despite it being cancelled 60 chapters in?

Am I the only one who can't really see Neverland getting an anime? It seems like its art style would be difficult to adapt without changing it quite a bit. It looks kind of sloppy and inconsistent at times. It also doesn't help that it feels like the enjoyment of the manga has declined some ever since the escape. I can honestly see a plateau of sales if things don't pick up. The twists and mind games were the best part of the manga, and without it, it just becomes another post-apocalyptic survival manga.

If Madouse does it with the same team that did Death Note first part, I'm all for it. ANY OTHER STUDIO: no.

Huh? It's popular. The chances of it not getting an anime are close to 0%.

It is going to get an anime, period. Now, if it is going to be well made, well animated and all that, this is another conversation entirely. Like Shueisha really cares about quality if they can make money over it. :derp

And I agree with you, the series became what we all feared it would become.

I think current Neverland is great. The fact that we're getting the world fleshed out is awesome. The next chapter could arguably be one of the most important so far. We really need to know what exactly happened to the world.
