Let's hope MHA doesn't go the Naruto movie route with inconsistent movie timeline placing. I mean does anyone even know when Bonds took place? And Blood Prison had flaws with Bee and Naruto knowing each other but Naruto hadn't even met him yet cause it took place before his training. They never made sense.

@cody it's more like you have NNT airing in Jan, Attack on Titan in July so that'll be airing 2 months after MHA airs and FT is unconfirmed some time next year. MHA is a big draw but I don't think Soul Catcher and BC (which will end in the summer next year) will be enough new material. I'd like to think Jump wants it's new titles to be explosive in popularity so It's gonna be competitive for those ratings.

Well WSJ and Jump SQ are preparing some new hot series for the future. Neverland and Kimetsu are going to get animated in 2019 most likely. Kodansha will also probably announce an anime for Fire Force soon for 2018.

Yeah true, if all else fails they can send some OVAs out for like World's End or even HxH? World's End could just be the beginning chapters, HxH could send out the Ging/Pariston collaboration. Yuragi is coming too, forgot forgot. Hope it does well but its appeal is to a different crowd so the point still reminds. I thought 2017 was a good year for anime, 2018 will be even better.

Now if only World Trigger comes off Hiatus
Aren't there any sings of life? Is there anything for World Trigger at Jump Festa, I doubt it would bring in any positive news about a comeback, but it would at least show that the series isn't completely dead yet.

Praying to Jesus everyday so far hasn't worked well yet in that regard. Gonna try sacrificing chicken for Satan next.
Seriously though, there should be SOME update somewhere about the health status of Ashihara. Like is he still in hospital, is he at home and relaxing to heal up or is he already sort of at work so that there are like a dozen or two chapters there so that he can take a week off per month for the next year but that the series won't be interrupted or is he currently trying to find a drawer for his manga 'cause the doctors told him to forget ever holding a pencil in his hands ever again?

Great numbers for Kimetsu and Neverland, good to see some confirmed numbers. Did a larger top get released or is this only for WSJ stuff? How about the other Shueisha magazines?

All the relevant major jump series are doing well. Neverland at peak food wars level is surprising. I guess Boruto v1 was split with last year?
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---
And BLack Clover early volumes must have missed the end of year cutoff. Darn it was super close. If only the anime started in summer.

So, the first volume of Black Clover sold 210k this year?

How is it doing if you compare with World Trigger?

Great numbers for Black Clover. If we count Digital Sales, we can expect probably at least 2,5 million this year.

Unless, Im blind, it doesnt appear that World Trigger ever appeared on the end of the year by volume charts until this year.

2016
2015

Unless there were different sources for numbers of those years, we cant compare maybe?

Yeah, World Trigger sold better both in the first and second year
18 2,234,851 World Trigger - 2016

22 2,735,269 World Trigger - 2015

But, not bad, i expected less.

Is there a total for World Trigger? It sold about 5 million with those 2015/16 numbers and this year it was around 900k. Not sure what the 2013/14 numbers but I wouldn't be surprised if there was around 7.5-8 million in circulation.
