One Piece has two one shots (Romance Dawn Version 1 and 2).
It's not that uncommon, probably means they made some changes to make it more appealing as a serialization and want to see how the improved version is received. I remember Takuan and Buttsu did the same thing, a oneshot in Next and turn another in WSJ.
Happens a lot. Takei for example made two different versions of his manga Jumbor before it got serialized in Ultra Jump with yet another revamp. Naruto had two different versions of it as well.

I don't have any strong like or dislike for Naruto covers they're just sorta there. That last one does get me pretty hard emotionally though more so than Bleach's uninspired one.
I feel the same for Gintama (just largely bland really especially in comparison to other gag manga like Saiki and Jaguar), Haikyuu (still can't get over that art) and AssClass (mostly throwaway with the exception of the last volume).
That's definitely one of the better ones. For most part they're fine though but they can get pretty ugly.
This HQ cover was great to me
They just don't stand out compared to the rest of Jump covers. If I was at a book store I wouldn't be amazed at World Trigger's covers if I wasn't already a fan of the manga.
I think the first one is great. But I mainly don't like them because of how they're colored. They look TOO digital. Horikoshi also digitally paints his art, but his digital painting is very well done and looks nearly hand colored.

I limited my post to SJ series, so I didn't mention Tegami Bachi, but I completely agree. All the covers are a masterpiece. All color page that Hiroyuki Asada draws for that matter.Tegami Bachi

Had amazing covers that felt like pieces of art rather than a splash piece of characters from that specific volume..
it's not because Ashihara use digital .........but the way characters color and the background match up make them soooo goddamn good in my opinion.......but of course not everyone has the same taste...
