Because they all suck... The manga and their respective animation... I still can't understand what da hell Saiki is doing on JUMP... There's no way that this comedy is better than Babu, or at the level of Gintama (like some people here in my country like to say).

And that reminds me (again) that next week we'll have TAMURA back... #hype

Are you seriously implying that Gintama is funnier than based Saiki? Gintama is overrated as fuck and Saiki's anime funny.
Wow... You really prefer Saiki over Gintama... But well, I guess the millions of people that prefer Gintama over Saikai (number of sells comment based) could be wrong... (Not...)

And the thing is... The majority of Saiki jokes are Japan-stuff related... I can read japanese but can't understand the majority of them... Gintama has this moments too, but not much... And even so, it manages to sell nothing and have at best, medium position at TOC. The anime was unable to help improving sales or toc positions...

I'm not sure if anyone here cares but SAO 3 is green lite. Of all the disappointing anime out there, why is SAO the one that won't just go away? It's loathed by most in the community so why does it keep coming back.
What community, because in Japan it`s very popular. I know SAO ain`t from Jump, but that applies to series from Jump as well, for example TerraforMars. It`s not popular in the west, but in Japan it`s a bestselling manga, with anime series, OVA`s, spin-off series and even live-action. What the "western community" thinks about a series isnt nearly as important as what the Japanese think, since they are the ones who buy the DVD`s, volumes, etc. It`s the same for these new series, if the Japanese like them the will stay, if not they get canceled.

You're honestly saying that... Asou is a comedy genius. Sure Gintama has extremely high highs with it's comedy, but it also goes through very eh phases. I think as a whole Saiki is a lot more consistent and pull off it's gags better than Gintama does. It is THE best comedy in the magazine currently and one of the better ones I've followed. The Saiki anime was the perfect adaptation of the manga. It wouldn't have worked well in long episodes, and the series' worth is in it's gags so they put everything into the VA's and giving it it's own style rather than animation and the like. It's the highest rated series from Summer 2016 on MAL, not that that means much. It's proof people do like it though.

Anyway, I still firmly believe Isobee should go and Saiki should take it's spot at the back of the magazine. I can agree that Jump has almost no reason to keep it around anymore though, as it's already hit it's peak in sales after the anime which isn't high. Still 3+X Isobee's though.

I know it may not be this the thread to speak about this series, but I´ve been telling people that its non-canon additions aren´t as bad as they think, and I read up to chapter 38 of manga, and watched some of the latest anime chapters. But they are still talking to me like I don´t understand the problem, when I have a more open mind to adaptations and I know that the most faithful ones aren´t always the best anime series. In these quotes I wrote the good things and bad things about all, if you care. And also, excuse me for the large texts. And advise me if you're going to send this to another thread, and which are you going to send it.
Has the series actually been following the manga though? I've read it, and been skimming through the episodes as I want to start watching when they go back to canon. But last I saw, 20 was the last episode with canon in it, unless they've been twisting it into fillers which will piss me off greatly. Although 40-44 which I followed more closely seemed to have zero relation to the manga at all. If they've really done 30 eps of filler in a 50 ep series, that is piss poor. No wonder it failed. This isn't 4Kids...

This post proves once more that people think that their dozen people circle represents the entire world in everything. Try to get out of your bubble for a change.
A-1 Pictures already said that they are going to do SAO as long as they have material. Because, and this can be new for you, it is POPULAR, FAMOUS, ONE OF THE BIGGEST FRANCHISE IN LIGHT NOVEL HISTORY.

Well I don't know what you mean by "genius"... I see no recognition whatsoever for him... These are pretty much you guys opinions...

I never said it wasn't my opinion.
In my opinion Asou is a genius and Saiki is a great series.
In your opinion Saiki is worse than Gintama and should be canceled.
It's pretty much your opinions too...

Yeah, that's that. but I'm not the one posting a huge picture trying to make myself be heard like the other dude did. And gintama at least have millions of copies and a huge fanbase...

What Saiki has instead of a few fans?

"Few Fans" - Has also sold millions...
Sure it's no Gintama (One of the most successful comedy series of all time), but it also has a large fanbase which I think you are underestimating. It's not a complete flop like the "Unfantastic Four". Why is any series expected to compete with one of the best of all time? That's just unreasonable, Jump series or not.

I want proof of "millions"... And I don't think I'm underestimating it, no... I know it has it's fanbase and it's a consolidated series... I'm merely comparing it with the highest selling gag series still being published in Shonen Jump (I don't think it will ever surpass Kochikame, but it could certainly sell more than Kinnikuman hence, making it the biggest pure gag/action series in jump's history)... And yeah, there's no comparison at all... Merely preferences which pretty much means nothing to the bigger picture (which to ME, is the best gag series between the 2 of them)...

And no, I don't think that we need to compare any series with the highest selling ones at their respective genre... I'm merely instanting that both are being published in JUMP and hence it's impossible not to be an "in topic" subject within this thread.

I think Saiki's comedy is way more condensed. There are jokes flown at you constantly, so you're bound to get at least a couple good laughs each chapter. The Gintama jokes that work for me are better than Saiki's, but again, Saiki provides me with more laughs in general, due to the amount of jokes in every chapter.
I want proof of "millions"...
Just go look up how many copies it has in print? I'm fairly certain it's at least around 4 million.

Ok let's assume it's 4 million, shall we? And I don't know the number of volumes, but let's say it's 20 (it's probably 21 or 22 but 20 it is)... Dividing it we have 200k copies per volume... This is pretty much what Black Clover is selling with at least half of the volumes... And ASSUMING that Saiki sells 200k per volume which I HARDLY think so... But ok... If you guys think this is "fine" for a "genius"...

I wasn't trying to argue whether he was a genius or not. I personally love Asou's sense of comedy, but that's highly subjective. Even if I were to consider him a genius, which I don't, I don't think bringing his sales numbers into consideration means anything.

The only one I would say that is elDlive, because Amano copied her Reborn's writing on this

Yeah... I meant that for the dude that said he is a "genius" or something... Even so 4 million is too much for saiki... half of it I could believe without the actual numbers obviously.

Come on... TSE is unbearable... The ostrich ninja in Naruto is better than the last whole filler arc ;/

Even so the best parts of Eldlive are the short reborn references.

Why are you using sales numbers to justify a manga's quality? Why are you using sales numbers to prove your opinion?
