10 years ago Naruto/Dragonball is popular than one piece in my country because one piece wasn't on television. I didn't know about Bleach exist until 2008~2009 and I'm pretty sure I didn't care about One Piece back then, not until 2012+.

In fact, back in Nam Sunday stuffs have more licenses than Jump stuffs, so I read more in book form as oppose to Jump manga (Detective Conan, Flame of Recca, MARS, Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Dan Doh!, Yaiba, Hayate no Gotoku) as opposte to Dragonball, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter (but i haven't read it) .

I read more Jump manga when my high school library has Deathnote ,Prince of tennis, Kenshin, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece then I found out about Edited Mangas.

I would say Dragonball/Naruto/Inuyasha/Detective Conan/Doraemon/Yuyu Hakusho are HUGE 10 years ago in Nam.

I start reading one piece back in 2001 if I remember correctly... At that time I think that the flow was still with Shaman King anime on Fox Kids or something. At least here in Brazil.

First WSJ series I got into was Shaman King. I remember Naruto was airing around the same time, or maybe afterwards, in my country as well, but I remember I couldn't get into Naruto all that much back in the day.

With Dragon Ball, my first exposure to that was actually the video games.

Oh my very first one?! I think anime was Saint Seiya back in 94 or 95 I don't remember... But I remember watching it with my father. Great times.

Pretty much. We had a Jetix brazillian version as well. It used to be Fox Kids here, then Jetix.

Yeah. That's the only place I remember there being that sort of anime, aside from stuff like Pokemon and Yugioh.

I remember seeing Pretty Cure on some random small cartoon channel a few years ago but yeah, it's sad that we pretty much don't get anime on TV in the UK anymore.

First WSJ series I watched was of course DBZ as a kid though I don't remember what my first WSJ manga was, I didn't get beyond watching dubs on TV until I was 15. I remember my very first manga ( weirdly it was World Embryo) but it's harder to think about just jump. It might have been I''s or Video Girl Ai, I know I read some romance series before I started reading the Naruto manga or anything else big like that.

Didn't watch on Toonami on CartoonNetwork? I thought all Americans watched anime on there :XD. Naruto and DBZ were my first, guys the new generation will never understand what it was like to grow up with those series.

Of course but the earliest I remember watching anime was Dragonball and DBZ on syndication before Cartoon Network picked it up in 1998 and where its popularity grew tremendously, used to play them early in the morning on Sundays and Sailor Moon was every weekday afternoon. Anime was all over the place in the 90's and at the weirdest times too but then when Pokemon was picked up by KidsWB most of the cable networks started to show interest with Cartoon Network being the one that got the most thanks to Toonami and later Adult Swim.

In germany anime have a rather difficult history-
Watched as a little child Sailor Moon(uncensored). It wasnt a german dub of the infamous american version, we've actually got all the episodes in german. Dragonball was also running uncensored & later followed by DBZ. We've also got One Piece, it was a good time for a kid watching anime(there were also more anime, but that's important now)-
And then the censorship began, which was especially terrible when Naruto started in germany. From episode 1, words like death, kill or die were changed to "defeat" or "captured". E.g, the whole Uchiha Clan wasnt murdered in the german dub, Itachi "captured" them & put them away instead. It's really, really horrible. Especially the first german Naruto opening is infamous for how bad it really is: Really bad click
Yet, in an ironic twist, Naruto is quite popular in germany, especially among teenage girls. But nowadays they almost dont show any anime in TV anymore. Though, One Piece is popular enough that fan demands let "new" episodes get translated from time to time. I think the german dub of OP reached the Marineford War Arc at this point.
Bleach was never really shown in german tv(I think in germany Pay TV, but I've never watched that).

So yeah, I've watched Dragonball(Dragonball Z), Sailor Moon & One Piece when I was a kid(around 2000, before and after), so I've got in touch with anime in a young age.
The first manga I've followed was Naruto, and was shocked how much was censored in the german dub. I also started to read Bleach & enjoyed it a lot back then. Different times.

This is a post from Yoshiaki Sukeno saying that the Golden Age of Jump was when the big 3 were reining in popularity. Now is only One Piece. I think the Golden era was in the 80's but what's your opinion on the topic?

I don't blame him, sometimes it is really hard to read everything, if you know what I mean. XD

There is no question that it was the Golden Era commercially speaking, quality wise it is discussable.

All 3 volumes of Neverland have gotten another reprint.
U19 volumes 2 & 3 will apparently both be released August 4.
