Nah man, I'm being completely serious. I enjoyed it for what it was, and it's characters were intriguing. And the ending... Well, that was certainly something.
It really didn't feel like a WSJ manga though. Makes me wish it was serialized in another less strict magazine so that it could have possibly lasted longer.

Honestly I'm surprised that no one seems to question me liking Condor because that manga was generic as all hell.
They don't question you because I already have the fascination of Mitsukubi Condor and Yoakemono covered.

That's what we get when we don't have an immigration process in this thread. We should ask newcomers if they like such series and if they say yes they get banned immediately. XD
(I'm kidding, jag, put this hammer to the other side. XD)

Did not expect any recent series to be included, so I'm happy for Haikyu. Again, there's so many big series from the past that they could have included anyone really. Having Dr. Slump on there is really cool though.

Are you sure it is Haikyuu, not some series that looks like Haikyuu by the silhouette? Because it is strange a very recent series among all these series despite being the second in sales right now.

There is no mistaking that hairstyle.

I hope we get a poster/cover with all the iconic series in the actual 50th anniversary next year.

I'm surprised they put Haikyuu on the cover and not Slam Dunk or even Kuroko. Both of those sold way more than Haikyuu.

I assume they used Haikyu because they wanted to have one series on the cover which was ongoing in WSJ. I'm surprised they didn't use Gintama instead though.

It'll be weird if they don't continue onward. There's still series like Naruto, Slam Dunk, Dragonball, etc.that are more deserving of the Jump Legends title.

Haikyuu haven't sold more than them yet. Slam Dunk is a bit difficult, but surpass Kuroko no Basket is feasible, Haikyuu is still on going and it achieved success much earlier than Kuroko no Basket so there is still time.

Wikipedia article about best selling mangas contradicts your post, so give me sources.

A bit difficult? There's a large gap in success between SD & HQ/KnB.

Haikyu sales: 26.5 million
Kuroko sales: ~30 million
Slam Dunk: 121 million

Note: Haikyuu is only about 4 months younger than Kuroko was when it ended so it's just keeping pace.

Slam Dunk's total should count sales since completion but Kuroko doesn't have post-run sales published anywhere.

*Note Xzone said 2014 not entire life time so don't question my source. Also, your original says surpass Kuroko, which it did, in 2014.
It is obvious that I'm talking about total sales, EmDee was talking about total sales, he just had to interpret the context better. Surpass a series in sales for a year doesn't mean anything when it comes to whether the series is legendary or not. Attack on Titan surpassed One Piece once and it makes it more legendary than OP, of course not, so it is irrelevant 2014 in this conversation.

Gintama barely gets cover pages (or color pages) on a whole, so im surprised that you're surprised.

Gintama is far past of its prime, I think Jump is just waiting for Sorachi to decide to end this, a thing that he promised more times than Kubo with Bleach. XD

I feel in his drawing that Horikoshi is fine now. There is no bigger signal than draw MHA cute girls.
