Thankfully BC and Gintama were able to outsell Harem on Oricon's chart. This is rather interesting as Bunkyodo, Tsutaya, e-hon among others had Harem above both of them. Still, it didn't outsell it by a considerable amount. Its now to see if it can last on the chart for at least 5 weeks. The anime should be entering into some more interesting material and even with a slow pace, if properly executed, it can be interesting. It should be noted that BC basically needs at least 4 cours in order to get to 350k first printing at this point. Just comparing it with previous volumes:

Volume 12 cannot be used as the time period is shorter, but the closest comparison would be volume 11. I don't know whether an extra day would have put Volume 13 above Volume 11 but its pretty much stabilized. Its from here on out that the real battle begins. Episode 2 seems to have given a good boost to the backlog.
Cross Account and Marie basically ranked in due to the low threshold. You don't see a threshold of around 12k. Its usually around 16k to 18k. Occasionally it falls but this is a good thing this time around. Next week is also when Magazine's and well as Young Jump's releases come out so we'll have to see if BC is able to keep up its rankings.
