Except that's exactly what they seem to be doing. Viz removed Kenshin from their site, the live action broadcast was cancelled, and the manga is on indefinite hiatus. Watsuki's career might be done for.

Technically Viz only removed the Hokkaido act, indicating that the manga is shelved indefinitely. The original Kenshin is still there. But I reckon Shueisha wouldn't really want to associate their name with Watsuki now.

this is Fukou no Tono and Renai Haitatsunin Posuo oneshots artist, he used to work with a different writer
both those oneshots were romcoms and Jump have 3 romcom right now, 2 of them are successful, so I guess it make sense they don't need anymore right now and made him work with someone else

Well Takeshi isn't there. Sure it wasn't one of the top sellers but still a big series during the 90s.

It isn’t meant to be included. You’ll notice OP is also missing (started 1 week apart), as well as others like HxH, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Shaman King, Rookies... If it appears, it’ll be in the next one.

New GH chapter is really fun. It's been really a long time a non-gag shonen manga made me laugh. I have high hope for the future of this manga. The new characters seem great too
